The UGC NET December 2025 expected cutoff for the SC/ST category depicts the level of competition across various subjects. The most competitive subject, Political Science, is anticipated to have a cutoff of around 232 for the SC category and 223 for the ST category, for the JRF section, followed by Philosophy and Sociology. However, other subjects like Economics, Commerce, Education, Hindi, English and History are also expected to have moderately high cutoffs for the SC/ST category candidates. 

List of CUET 2026 Subjects for B.El.Ed: Bachelor of Elementary Education program, offered at around eight colleges under the University of Delhi, is a specialized course designed for aspiring elementary school teachers. This program requires students to appear for CUET UG 2026. It aims to produce highly skilled graduates in elementary teacher education and focuses on preparing teachers within a supportive and stimulating environment. Students interested in pursuing B.El.Ed must take the CUET UG 2026 exam and select specific subject combinations as per the eligibility criteria. The eligibility does not impose a minimum percentage requirement from Class XII. Per the prescribed eligibility criteria by official authorities, students must choose one language from List A, two subjects from List B1, and one additional subject from either List B1 or List B2. Merit will be determined based on CUET scores obtained in this combination. CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted from May 11 to 31, 2026 and will be offered in both computer-based and pen-and-paper formats. It will consist of multiple-choice questions and be available in 13 languages. 

Integrated BSc & MSc Courses Under CUET 2026: Integrated BSc & MSc courses under CUET 2026 are offered in 26 subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Geology, Statistics, and more. The course duration of BSc Degree courses is usually 3 years, whereas the duration for Integrated BSc & MSc courses is 4 to 5 years. After the completion of this course, students can have a flourishing career as a Food and Drug Inspector, Research Scientist, or Senior Laboratory Scientist. Prominent universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University and Assam University offer Integrated BSc & MSc courses. Students are required to qualify for the CUET UG 2026 to get admission to these universities. The CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
