The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) in India require candidates to hold a Master's degree in the relevant field of study from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories) in their qualifying examination. Aspiring candidates are also required to qualify in the entrance examination conducted by SPIT or any other recognized national-level examination such as UGC-NET, GATE, or CSIR-NET. Shortlisted candidates will further undergo a personal interview and/or a written test as part of the selection process.
