Overall: Saveetha Dental College is the first in TamilNadu State to introduce post graduate course in public health dentistry department and has got good reputation throughout India.The college atmosphere is such that there are lot of opportunities to learn in practical ways.Outreach activities are given importance for acquiring knowledge on organizing skills.

Placement: Passed out seniors from this university get job offers and are placed with better recognition comparatively. They are so confident in managing different kinds of patients due to adequate exposure gained during college days. They are in a better position to handle and manage patients in the most effective and efficient manner.
