Counselling is one of the major mandates of the institute as it aids the students in their decision-making skills and makes the SBIT admission process a lot easier for both, the candidates as well as the administration. This system is mainly supported by the scores received in the entrance examinations and previous qualifying tests.
For the SBIT Sonipat B.Tech admission, the counselling process is the main event in their selection procedure, as this is facilitated by the state of Haryana, which conducts a central counselling system in order to cater to a wide range of students. Candidates who meet the cut-offs set by this institute can obtain a seat of their choice by matching the scores with the set parameters. For students of other courses, counselling within the institute can either be accessed through the online portal or on campus.
The Shri Balwant Institute of Technology admission criteria are based on the following 3 parameters:
The scores secured in the grade 10+2 board examination conducted by a board recognised in the country or its equivalent is taken into account while offering SBIT admissions. The minimum aggregate percentage to be received ranges between 50 to 55%
Candidates who wish to apply to the various post-graduate courses available here can do so only if they have secured a minimum percentage of 50% in aggregate marks in the qualifying exam of their bachelor’s degree.
