Social Scholarships

  • The wards and siblings of martyred personnel of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian central and state paramilitary forces, and police receive a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • The wards of serving and retired personnel of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian central and state paramilitary forces, police, and NCC get a 20% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • Students who are physically challenged at the time of applying are eligible to get a 20% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • Girl applicants get a 30% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • The wards of health and hospital frontline workers receive a 20% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • The wards of Padmashree, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Bharat Ratna, and National Award winners get a 100% scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • The students of north-eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura) receive a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee.

Merit Scholarships

Kalinga University awards Merit Scholarships according to a student's performance in the KALSEE exam.

Achievers Scholarship 

  • Students who have participated in national, Asiad, or international-level recognised sports events as a part of the team or in solo events are entitled to a 50 % scholarship on the tuition fee.
  • Students who have participated in state-level recognised sports in a team or in solo events are entitled to a 30 % scholarship on the tuition fee.

Siblings Scholarships

Siblings Scholarships are applicable only to direct blood relations of the students currently studying (admitted in the last Academic Session 2021-22 or before) in any programme of Kalinga University.

  • 20% scholarship is offered on the tuition fee to the students taking admission in Academic Session 2024-2025.
  • This scholarship is valid only till the completion of the course of the elder sibling i.e., previously admitted current student.

Social Media Scholarships

Students with a strong presence in social media in the area of art, music, social work, technology, or culture are offered up to a 20% scholarship on the tuition fee.

Innovation and Research Scholarships

Students who have published research papers or books on startups, technology, or product innovation are offered up to 50% scholarships on the tuition fee.

Other Scholarships

The wards of Kalinga University teaching and non-teaching staff are entitled to a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee.

Kalinga University offers B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and D.Pharma courses in the Pharmacy department.
