Kalinga University offers several scholarships to the eligible students based on certain criteria. There are scholarships on merit, innovation, exceptional performance in extracurricular activities, etc. The scholarships of Kalinga University are only available for tuition fees and the entire course duration. Moreover, a student needs to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance as per the Kalinga University scholarship policy.
Kalinga University awards Merit Scholarships according to a student's performance in the KALSEE exam. Students securing marks from 60% to above 90% in KALSEE and KALMAT are eligible for this scholarship. Based on their scores, these students are entitled to receive 10%-40% fee waivers on the tuition.

Kalinga University offers the Achievers Scholarship to students who have participated in national, international, and state-level sports competitions and events, either as a solo participant or as part of a team. Based on their achievements, the university offers fee waivers, applicable to the tution fees.
Kalinga University Siblings Scholarships are applicable only to direct blood relations of the students currently studying (admitted in the last Academic Session 2021-22 or before) in any programme of Kalinga University.
Students with a strong presence on social media in the area of art, music, social work, technology, or culture are offered up to a 20% scholarship on the tuition fee.
Students who have published research papers or books on startups, technology, or product innovation are offered up to 50% scholarships on the tuition fee.
The wards of Kalinga University teaching and non-teaching staff are entitled to a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee.
