For Kalinga University UG and PG courses, there is a Kalinga University application fee of Rs 1,000, and this fee structure is applicable only to Indian students. For PG and UG courses, students from other countries and NRIs must pay 40 dollars. Indian students are charged Rs 2,000 for PhD courses. Students from other countries and NRI for PhD programmes must pay 50 dollars.

The university conducts Kalinga University Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) for the selection of candidates. The KALSEE cutoff is only a preliminary eligibility criterion for admission. The final selection of candidates is based on the merit secured in the entrance examination and the availability of seats. 

A student willing to get admission at Kalinga University must appear in KALSEE which is an online examination. • The National Digital Library of India (NDL) - The project is being carried out by the Indian Ministry of Human Resources Development. It consists of digital versions of textbooks, articles, videos, audiobooks, lectures, simulations, fiction, and all types of other learning materials. In addition, NDLI provides access to a wide range of books in English and several Indian languages.
• NPTEL  - Seven Indian Institutes of Technology initiated it. As a result, an additional 600 web-based and video courses were created in all major branches of engineering and physical sciences at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and management courses at the postgraduate level as part of NPTEL Phase II.
