MIT WPU Scholarships 2024 : Details, Eligibility, Amount

MIT World Peace University assists its students in pursuing their academic and professional goals through the MIT-WPU scholarship schemes. The university offers a number of merit scholarships to take away all the financial concerns of the enrolled meritorious students. The MIT WPU  scholarship policy especially focuses on empowering students through numerous benefits. Some of the MIT WPU scholarships are the Dr. Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship and MIT WPU Merit Scholarship. 

The MIT WPU  scholarship B.Tech takes into consideration a student’s performance in the entrance exams (JEE Main/MHT-CET) to determine their merit. Similarly, the MIT-WPU scholarship BBA depends on the marks obtained in the UGPET or the Class 12 examination.

Dr. Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship

Dr. Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship provides 100% fee waiver for the entire duration of the programme. However, students need to meet the below-mentioned conditions. Moreover, this scholarship is available only to the 5% of the approved intake for the respective programme.

MIT WPU  Merit Scholarship

MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship is available for only one year for the first-year UG and PG programmes. The eligible students for 100% MIT WPU  scholarship need to pay the provisional admission fee / first instalment of fee on or before the last date of admission notification. The university adjusts this fee against the fee payable for subsequent years.

Scholarship to Rank Holders

This scholarship programme is for the rank holders of UG, PG, and Integrated Diploma (6Yrs.) programmes (expect M. Tech and M. Pharm where the stipend is applicable) who secure the 1st and 2nd ranks in the respective MIT-WPU annual examinations. However, it is not applicable to the students who are already getting any other MIT-WPU scholarships like Dr. Vishwanath Karad 100% Merit Scholarship, MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship, or any other stipend.

Scholarships to Elite Sportsman

This scholarship is exclusively for any student who participates or wins a medal at west zone inter-university, all India inter-university, national or international level while representing MIT-WPU. Students playing for any Govt. sponsored or Govt. recognised official sports organisations (IDA, BCCI, etc.) in any nationally or internationally recognised sporting event are also eligible.

Scholarship Awarded to Wards of MIT-WPUI MAEER's Staff Members

As the name suggests, all the students who are wards (children) of faculty/ staff of MIT- WPU are offered this scholarship. However, there are a few conditions that they must satisfy.
