GATE 2024 Cutoff for GFTI: The GATE 2024 cutoff for GFTI is the minimum marks that candidates must score in the GATE exam to secure admission into the MTech programmes at the GFTIs.A total of eight Government Funded Technical Institutes engage in CCMT counselling to select qualified students for M.Tech admission through the GATE 2024. GFTIs provide a variety of M.Tech specializations, with a distinct cutoff for each. Following each round of seat allocation, CCMT publishes the opening and closing ranks for each GFTI and MTech specialization. The GATE cutoff 2024 depends on various factors like candidate’s category, number of seats available, number of candidates participating, previous year's cutoff, etc. Every year, the GATE cutoff for admission to GFTI varies.

What is GATE counselling?

Candidates who qualify the GATE 2024 examination will be eligible to participate in the GATE counselling 2024 for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. For admission into GFTIs, candidates are required to register themselves for a Centralized Counselling Process (CCMT). The GATE 2024 counselling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc. There will be three regular rounds GATE counselling 2024. The final seat allotment will be based on GATE 2024 scores/ranks, seat availability, and candidate selections.
