    Central Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC students

    Scholarship Value: Full tuition fees, Living expenses @ 2220 x 12, books grant Rs. 3000 for the entire course and one-time grant Rs. 45000/- for the latest computer and accessories.

    Application Procedure: Students will be asked to apply as per their JEE ranks

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income -Total family income is up to Rs. 2.00 lakhs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- JEE rank

    • Category- SC

    Remarks: The scholarship, once awarded, will continue till the completion of the course, subject to the satisfactory performance.

    National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students (CSSS Top Class ST students)

    Scholarship Value: Full tuition fees, Living expenses @ 2200 x 12, books grant Rs. 3000 for the entire course and one-time grant Rs. 45000/- for the latest computer and accessories

    Application Procedure: Students shall apply through the scholarship online portal:-  http:escholarship.tribal.nic.in within the cut of date.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income -upto 4.5 lacs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- ST student who secure admission in NIT, the inter-seniority merit will be based on the percentage marks obtained in the qualify examination JEE Adance

    • Category- ST

    Remarks:

    • 1. The scholarship awarded, will continue till the completion of course, subject to satisfactory performance of the student.
    • The ST students once considered eligible for the Scholarship shall not be entitled for any other scholarship of the Center and State Govt. for the same study.
    •  Ministry will accord preference to in the following manner. (A) PVTG, (B) Femail Candidates (C) BPL Candidates (D) Remaining once on inter-seniority.

    National Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment GOI) Trust fund

    Scholarship Value: Nonrefundable fee+ Maintenance allowance (Rs. 2500/- pm for 10 months only in a year) + Books stationary allowance (Rs. 6000/- pa) + Orthopedically Handicapped laptop Rs. 40000, Visually Handicapped Rs. 10000-60000, Hearing Handicapped Rs. 50000-70000.

    Procedure: Apply online at any time of the year

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income is up to  3.00 lakhs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 

                                    1. Indian students with at least 40% of disabilities certified as per definition under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995.

                                    2. At least 50% marks in 10+2.

    • Category- PH

    Remarks: Total 2500 scholarships out of which 30% are reserved for girls. NHFDC Scholarship covered Under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of the available awards then the scholarship will be awarded on "First come First served" basis

    National Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities 2015-16

    Value: Rs. 10,000 per year

    Procedure:  Applications for fresh fill the annexure 'A' and for renewal fill the annuexure 'B' with require documents to be send Regd.                                      2. 40 % Disabilities certified as defination under persons with disabilities Act 1995.

    Remarks: Previous NHFDC Scholarshp for National Fund has wind up / closed and replace with this scheme.

    Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority Communities. (Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi)

    Value: Course fee :- Rs.20,000/- per annum or Actual whichever is less; rent for hosteller-Rs 10,000/-  p.a.and  Day-hosteller-Rs 5,000/- per annum.

    Procedure: 1. Apply online
                        2. Institute will forward online.
                        3. Scholarship amount will transfer through DBT by the funding agency.
                        4. Scholarship awardee will submit documents of received scholarship in office of the Dean                         Student Welfare

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Upto 2.50 lacs pa

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Student must have got admission in the recognized professional degree course or secured not less than 50% marks at senior secondary (10+2)  Selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis.

    • Category- Minority (Muslim, Sikh, Parsi ,Buddhist Jain, Christian)

    Remarks: 

    1.  Scholarship continution in subsequent years will depend on successful completion of the course  during the preceding year.
    2.   30% scholarship will be reserved for girls of each minority community in a state which is transferable to male student of that community in case of non-availability of female candidate in that community in the concerned state....

    Ministry of Steel Authority Scholarhip to student of Metallurgical & Metrial Engg. Deptt.

    Value: Rs. 120000 per annum

    Procedure: The selection of student will be based on merit and interview by Chair Professor of Metallurgical & Metirial Engg. Deptt. from 3rd year batch

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Not Applicable

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- All India Rank in AIEEE

    • Category- All

    Remarks: 

    1.  The third year and fourth year student of Metallurgical & Metrial Engg. Deptt. shall be eligible for the award of scholarship five students from earch batch.
    2. Award of scholarship to the student shall be effective from the batch of students persuing study in third year. 
    3. The selection of the students will be made amongst those meritrious students who would agree to provide undertaking that they agree to persue their career in Metallury, the selection strictly on merit and interview.

    Central Sector scholarship for College and University Students (MHRD, Govt. of India)

    Value: Rs 1000/- pm for first three years and Rs. 2000/- pm for fourth and fifth year (For 10 months only in each year)

    Procedure: Respective Board will inform to the candidates

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Upto 4.5 lacs pa

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 

                                    1. 80 percentile or above in XII or 10+2.                  

                                    2. Age 18-25 years

    • Category- All

    Remarks: Total 82000 scholarships out of which 50% earmarked for girls.

    Indian Oil Scholarships Scheme for Graduate (Engineering)

    Value: Rs. 3,000/- pm

    Procedure: 1. Apply online
                        2. Print the application, get it verified from DSW MNIT and send to IOCL office along with                         documents

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Upto 1.0 lac pa

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria-

                                 1.  Marks obtain 65% for General, 60% for SC/ST/OBC/Girls, 50% for PC/PH students in                                   12th.                   

                                 2. Age must be between 15 – 30 years

    Remarks: Total number of scholarships are available 2600. 

     

    Scheme for Award of Engineers India Limited (EIL) Scholarship for SC and ST Undergradute Engineering Students

    Value: Rs. 36000 per annum

    Procedure: Apply in prescribe performa annexure 1 of two page forwarded from office of Dean Student Welfare and submission at Head (HRD) Engineers India Limited, Engineers India Limited, Engineers India Bhawan, EIA-3rd Floor, New Delhi-110066

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income upto 300000 per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Selection shall be made on the basis of performance in Class XII/Diploma in Engineering candidate should have 55% or equivalent CGPA/CPI in aggregate in Class XII/Diploma in Engineering.

    • Category- SC/ST

    Remarks: 

    1.  Pursing full-time undergradute engineering programme Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Chemical and IT.
    2.  A candidate receipt of any other financial aid and stipend scholarship from any other source shall not be eligible.

    Coal India Limited BPL Scholarship (Merit cum Income basis)

    Value: Tution fee+ Accomodation acharges + Incidental Charges

    Procedure: 1. Apply against press advertisement within 60 days from advt. date                                         

                        2. Send application through DSW MNIT.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - BPL family

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 1. JEE Rank.

    Remarks: 94 sholarships for the students of civil, electrical, mechanical, computer/IT, elcetronics & Comm.

     

    Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Scholarship for SC/ST students

    Value: 1st & 2nd year Rs 12000/- 3rd & 4th year Rs 18,000/-

    Procedure: The candidate may submit their typed application along with a recent passport size attested photograph affixed on the application, copy of mark sheets of 12th standard or graduation as applicable, caste certificate and income certificate issued from Tehsildar or competent district revenue authorities in prescribe performa forwarded by office of Dean Student Welfare.

    Eligibility Criteria: 

    • Parental Income - Total family income Upto 1.5 lacs pa

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- At least 60% marks in 12th class

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Not Applicable

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Highest CGPA in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering

    • Category- All

    Remarks: Topper of the third year in  Mechanical & Chemical Engg. Stream.

     

    SAIL Scholarship for SC/ST Students

    Value: Rs. 5400/- per annum

    Procedure: 

    1. Apply in prescribed format, get varified from DSW MNIT and send to SAIL Office along with documents.
    2. Shri L.K.Jha, Dy Manager[Pers-IR&W], Steel Authority of India Limited, Ispat Bhawan, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110 003.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income upto 15000/- per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- The SC/ST students who have joined any Institute of Technology recognised by the Government of India for pursuing a full time Engineering Courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical,  Chemical, Computer Engg.

    • Category- SC/ST

    Remarks: 

    1. Number of scholarships is fourteen.
    2. Scholarship shall be renewed on year to year basis depending on the performance
      of the student.

     

    OPJEMS

    Value: One time payment of Rs 80000/- and Medal

    Procedure:

    1. First 3 toppers of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of four stream.
    2. Final selection is based on written test and interview

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income -  Not Applicable

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Top 20 rank holder students based on the rank in JEE for first year and top 20 students based on CGPA for secon, third year and final year students. 

    • Category-

    Remarks: Applicant for award will be considered in following stream:-

    RECPDCL Meritorious Scholarship Scheme

    Value: Rs. 24000/- for one year

    Procedure: 

    1. The candidate studing in 2nd year in engineering course will apply through online with forwarding from institute

    • Parental Income - Gross annual income of parents should be less or equal to 1.50 lakh.

                         2. Merit selection base on the marks obtain in the 1st year of engineering for General 60%,                          SC/ST/OBC-NCL and Girls 60% and PC/PH 50%.

    1. Applicant age limit should be minimum 18 year and maximum 25 year at the time of published advertisement.
    2. Out of 125 Nos. of Scholarship reserved for the SC 10%, ST 5%, OBC-NCL 10%, PC/PH 5%, Girls 5% and balance for General.
    3. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not received/hold any scholarship from any other source

     

    NTPC Scholarship

    Value: Rs. 48000/- per annum

    Procedure: Submit the printed application alongwith the documents in office of DSW MNIT

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Not Applicable

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- ??Student studying Second year who have passed their Ist year and third semester in one attempt only students.

    • Category- SC / ST / PC

    Remarks: 60 SC, 30 ST, and 10 PC scholarships for the students in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics & communication Engg., Civil, Chemical.

     

    North South Foundation Scholarship

    Value: Scholarship amounts range from INR 5,000 to INR 15,000 per student year.

    Procedure: 1. Apply online
                        2.Shortlist candidates will call for interview (Sept.)

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Your annual family income is less than Rs. 65,000.

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Candidate must be within top 10% in 10th or 12th in state or central board examinations or the CET for admission to Engineering

    • Category-

    Remarks:

    1. 900 scholarships are for renewals and 600 for first year students.
    2. Processing start in June-Aug

     

    FAEA CII scholarship

    Value: Tuition fee; maintenance, books, clothing, traveling alloewances; hostel/ mess and misc charges.

    Procedure: Apply in prescribed format and get forwarded from office of Dean Student Welfare and send to FAEA

    Eligibility Criteria: 

    • Parental Income - Under category BPL

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 

                                                            1. Students who have passed Class XII from recognized board in India

                                                            2. 1st year under-graduate students.

    • Category-  All

    Remarks: 

    1. Selection is based on academic excellence (Marks in 12th and Interview) , social and economic background.
    2.  Final awards are based entirely on the discretion of the FAEA and may cover the full cost of proposed study plans up to five years.

    Swami Sivananda Memorial Scholarship

    Value: Rs. 24000 /- per annum for each batch. (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year).

    Procedure: 1. Applications will be invited by DSW MNIT in July/August every year.                                                               2. The selection procedure (guiding principles) for grant of scholarships shall be evolved
                            by MNITJ as Per the rules of MNITJ'

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income up to Rs.2.00 lacs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- CGPA score of at least 7.00  till qualifying examination

    • Category- All

    Remarks: 

    1. Total four scholarships will be awarded (one each for I, II, III and IV years students) each year.
    2.  Selection will be made by a committee on the basis of academic perfromance(80% weightage) and performance in extra and cocurricular activities (20% weightage).

    Raj and Sarla Bhargava Scholarship

    Value: Rs 12000/- per annum

    Procedure: 

    1. Applications will be invited by DSW MNIT.
    2. Selection will be done by a constitute committee.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income upto 1.0 lac per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- Completed III year in Elecronics and Communication Engineering

    Remarks: Selection is based on academic perfromance upto III year (Only for ECE students of 3rd year)

    Sitram Jindal Scholarship (SITARAM JINDAL FOUNDATION)

    Value: Foundation committee will be decide amount of scholarship

    Procedure: Apply in prescribed format and send the appliaction to the foundation office after varification from DSW office

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income upto Rs.4.00 lacs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 60% or above for female and 70% or above for male students in qualifying examination

    1. Preferance shall be given to BPL student, Physically Challanged or Handicapped students, Widow and Unmarriage of Ex-service man.

    Ratan Kanwar Lal Patni Charitable Scholarship scheme for Rajasthan

    Value: Maximum Rs. 40000 per  annum or actual fee whichever is less.

    Value: Nonrefundable fee Upto a maximum of Rs. 3000/- pa + Maintenane allownace

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income upto 2.00 lacs per annum

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- 50% marks or equvilant grade in previous final exam

    Remarks:

    1. 30% scolarships are reserved for girls.
    2. Not to be given to more than two students in a family.

    Post Matric scholarship (Other State)

    “Financial support to the students of North Eastern Region for higher professional courses” by North Eastern Council Plan, Shillong (MEGHALAYA)

    Value: Rs. 12000 per annum and Rs. 1400 per annum book grant for one year

    Procedure: Student will have to fill up a prescribed renewal form (specimen enclosed as Annexure VII obtainable from the State Government and get forward from the Head of the Institute concerned who shall do so strictly on the basis of satisfactory progress of the stipendiary and the selection will be done by state government.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income from all sources  should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- All  Rajasthan bonafied NIT students 

    • Category- All cetagory except Minorities

    Remarks: 

    1. The scholarship will sanctioned and forwarded subject to satisfactory performance of the student

    Swami Dayanand Charitable Educational Foundation (Merit-cum-Mean Scholarship

    Value: Five types of Scholarship 60000 to 20000 per annum.

    Procedure: Complete prescribe application with supporting documents and duly certified and forwarded by HOD of the institution shoule submitted within a time limit

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parental Income - Total family income from all sources shoule be less than Rs. 6 lakh

    • Academic and Other Eligibility Criteria- For Fresh student in NIT minimum 65% marks obtain in 12th Class and for renewal more than6.5 CGPA required.

    Prof. Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education

    Value: 90% of Academic fee (maximum limit upto 1 lakh)

    Procedure: Applications should be submitted to "Scholarship Committee, IMFA Building, Bhubaneswar - 751010, Odisha" in the prescribed format available online at www.imfa.in/social-responsibility/scholarship.htm or www.bipf.org.in/scholarship.htm by 25th October every year. Required document should be attested from DSW office
