Since 1992, the School of Aeronautics has been providing world-class aviation education in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and Cabin Crew programmes. After 14 years of successfully running the School of Aeronautics (Delhi), the School of Aeronautics (Neemrana) was established in 2006. Laxmi Narain Verma Memorial Society, founded in loving memory of Shri L.N. Verma and registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, is the managing body.

The School of Aeronautics (Neemrana) is located in the NCR on the New Delhi Jaipur National Highway No.8 and is only a one-and-a-half-hour drive from New Delhi on a six-lane expressway. The functional and technical infrastructure is functional on a sprawling five-acre campus set in a serene environment. The atmosphere created by the confluence of minds and cultures from all over the aviation industry helps shape students into aviation leaders.

The admission process for the School of Aeronautics (SoA), Neemrana, for the 2021-22 academic year is currently underway, and interested candidates can apply online. Candidates are admitted to SoA Neemrana based on their performance in the Personal Interview (PI) and the written test administered by SoA. Before applying, candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria for the respective course. Students who are interested in applying must complete an online application form. For admission to Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering, the school administers a combined entrance exam.

The school's most popular course is Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). In addition to AME, SoA offers a Licence programme in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (DGCA/ EASA). It also provides a few professional courses. Students are placed in over 200 companies during placements, including Spicejet, Indigo, Bluedart, and Jet Airways.

B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)

• PCM or equivalent in Class 12. Students who have taken a different optional subject in place of Chemistry are also eligible.
• 3-year Engineering diploma in a relevant field, such as Mechanical, Production & Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Automobile. Candidates who meet this requirement are also eligible for lateral entry into the second year of Mechatronics Engineering. Students with a diploma in engineering other than the branches mentioned above can begin their studies in the first year.
• BSc in PCM. This qualification qualifies students for lateral entry into the second year of Aeronautical Engineering.
• According to AICTE guidelines, candidates must have a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in Class 12 (PCM) or equivalent or any of the qualifications listed above.

 B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering

• PCM or equivalent in Class 12 Students who have taken a different optional subject in place of Chemistry are also eligible.
• 3-year Engineering diploma in a relevant field, such as Mechanical, Production & Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Automobile. SOACET- SOACET is a School of Aeronautics entrance exam for admission to B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programs (AME). All SOA courses are AICTE / DGCA approved, and B.Tech courses are affiliated with BTU/RTU.

AICTE and DGCA are India's sole approval authorities for B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) courses. The DGCA is the regulatory body in charge of overseeing the operations of India's aviation organizations.

Every year, the SOA holds these entrance exams at various locations. This exam is typically held in May and June.

Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and Mechatronics are all areas of study. Practical training is an essential component of the course. The institute has a well-equipped workshop where students can receive hands-on training in basic workshop technology. Other labs include an electrical lab, an instrument lab, and a radio navigation lab. These labs are outfitted with all necessary training aids and other equipment for practical demonstration and training. The School of Aeronautics has two 52-seater fully operational aircraft for student training. Aircraft Avionics System Labs are well-stocked with fundamental and cutting-edge technology—Radio Communication and Navigation equipment.

One of the introductory labs in the college where students of Aeronautical Engineering can perform practicals related to wind tunnel model analysis. They have a wind tunnel with a test section speed of 32 meters per second, a cross-section of 1 foot by 1 foot, and one meter. The institute has a fully stocked library with various course textbooks, reference books, solved/unsolved exam papers, news/bulletins, magazines, personality development books, general knowledge books, and competitive exam books.
