Shree Sathyam College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET) is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified Institution in Salem, Tamil Nadu, established in 2011 by Shree Sathyam Charitable Trust. It is a private college accredited by AICTE.

SSCET Salem Placement cell focuses on 100% Placement. It improves the employability skills of the students by training the students every day for 2 hours and organizing various seminars and workshops. The placement officers communicate with the students regularly and maintain relationships with top companies.

Individual counselling is also done, focusing o the holistic personality development of the students. Mock interviews and aptitude tests are also taken to improve the students. SSCET Salem campus is enabled with WiFi connectivity. 24 Computers are provided in the UG Library, whereas the PG Library has 8 Computers for students browsing. Students indulge in various extracurricular and social activities through clubs like Green club, NSS/NCC, Tamil Mandram, and blood donation camps. 1,400 Desktops and 14 Servers are there in different laboratories of various departments. 100 Laptops and 200 printers are provided in various departments for both students and staff use.

Separate hostels for men and women are available. The medical centre has residential doctors at specified hours, a sick room, and 24 hours ambulance service. Treatment in this medical centre is free of cost. Foods are available at all the canteens, cafeterias, and various food points at a very reasonable price, as cheap as 25 rupees per meal (rice/roti, dal, sabzi, papad, chatni).
