Overall: Overall the experience of our college is quite good if I were to rated out of 10 stars I would rate it 7 . The college infrastructure is good the study is pretty good and also the College campus is very vast we can also explore it on holidays. The nightlife in the campus is pretty dull you can't find any person in the outside there is a well published market outside the college which is good so we can buy things also

Placement: The college provides in campus placements in be bachelor of technology but only those students who have an average CGPA greater than 7 are allowed to sit in the placement also they should have no backlog. Among the ones seated in placement not all are granted to grab a placement and the average packages nearly 4 to 5 lacs which is not enough

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best thing about our college .The buildings are very well designed . The interior as well as the exterior of all the buildings of all the branches are very well built and are clean and tidy . The infrastructure of our colleges one of the things which makes it better than 90% of other colleges

Faculty: The faculty of our college in all the branches is very well qualified they are easy to understand and can make heart topics look easy. The only negative point about the faculty is that they are not very friendly with the students and sometimes behave rudely

Hostel: The hostels of our college are very nice and tidy they are very spacious and our rooms are also very clean they have proper whitewashing the rooms are provided with almirahs fans charging ports and tables etc the only negative point about the hostel is the bathrooms which are very dirty and always stink

Overall: My overall experience in this college is above average as it is better than what i expected . Smvdu provides better placements than most of the colleges in jammu and kashmir and it has bigger campus than most of the university in jammu

Placement: In smvdu only students with no backlog and cgpa above 7 are allowed to sit in campus placement. Only 30-40% students get placement in college. The highest package in civil engineering is 24 lakh and average package is 6 lakh per annum

Infrastructure: Smvdu infrastructure is average as it has older buildings of departments.Sports infrastructure is very good as it contain cricket, football ground. College has its own library which is very big and clean.

Faculty: Smvdu's faculty is well educated and most of them are phd graduate from iit. They are very friendly with students and help them in their doubt solving. Teaching method is old i.e on whiteboards and ppt

Hostel: Hostel's room are very big and comfortable. But the washrooms are so dirty that even animal can't go there and the mess food is also very bad with no hygiene.
