The College is an ideal center of various co-curricular activities. In particular the College has strong NCC (Army & Navy) and NSS wings for both Boys and Girls supervised by trained teachers. One of the distinguishing privileges of the Navy wing is the Joysagar Tank in front of the College. Many of the alumni of the College are renowned NCC cadets. The College undertakes some extra-curricular programmes like Freshers Social, College Week, Swarasati Puja, College Foundation Day Celebration, Celebration of National Days etc. in order to promote talents and skills of the students in respective fields. Through these programmes the teachers also find opportunity to enhance the interaction with the students.
