Symbiosis Institute of International Business or as abbreviated as SIIB is an autonomous institute founded in 1956. The institute is one of the prestigious business schools in the country and is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU). It is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the "Deemed to be University" status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU). SIU is accredited by NAAC with an 'A' Grade.

SIIB Pune admission process starts from August every year with SNAP registration commencement. SNAP 2023 or Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is an entrance exam required to get admission in SIIB MBA programme. The prerequisite for appearing for registering in SIIB Pune SNAP exam is graduation. Anyone who seeks to take admission in SIIB Pune, should be a graduate. 

SIIB Pune Selection Process

The SIIB Pune selection process is carried out in two steps. Interested candidates should understand each step thoroughly before applying for SIIB Pune admissions 2023-24. 
 

• SNAP Test: Each student desirous of admission to SIIB Pune must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. For SNAP Test information log on to http://www.snaptest.org and register. Get your SNAP ID and complete the SNAP and Institution registration and payment. Preserve the SNAP admit card for further selection process at SIIB, Pune. Appearing for SNAP Test does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the SIIB Pune selection process.
• GE-PIWAT at SIIB Pune: Based on SNAP scores, short-listed applicants will be called for the next selection process at SIIB, Pune. Result of shortlisted / not shortlisted candidates is announced via a web link on SIIB Pune official website as per the scheduled dates. The entire selection process will be held in Pune only. This SNAP admission process includes Group exercises, Personal Interviews, and Written Ability tests (GE-PIWAT).

SIIB Pune offers scholarships to needy and deserving students. SIIB Pune scholarships are offered in two ways- at the time of admission or during the semester for commendable performance. 

SIIB Pune Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for SIIB Pune Scholarships, students must meet the following SIIB scholarships eligibility criteria.

• As per revised policy semester topper will be awarded scholarship based on academic
• excellence, a minimum GPA of 7.50.
• Only those students will be eligible for the award of Merit Scholarship who have cleared the courses prescribed for the respective programme. i.e. they should not have many backlog.
• The student who has been awarded merit scholarship by the University shall not be debarred from stipend or any financial assistance from any other source. 
• The student is awarded any stipend or financial assistance from any other source, he/she shall communicate the same through the Institute to the office of Student Affairs, SIU.
• There will be no income limit of the parents/guardians of the students for the grant of merit scholarship.
• In case a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship by the University, he/she shall be awarded only one scholarship/freeship as per his/her preference. 

SIIB Pune Scholarships Selection Process

• The award of merit scholarship for PG programmes shall be announced every year by the University.
• If a student declines or cancels his admission, the scholarship amount will not be awarded to any other student but will be refunded by the institute to the University.
• The scholarship amount will not be paid to a student. It will be transferred by the University directly to the Institute for the adjustment in academic fee. The cheque of the scholarship amount will be given to the student for the last semester of the program.
