TG DOST Seat Allotment Result 2026: Telangana State Council for Higher Education has released the TG DOST Seat Allotment Result 2026 for the Phase 1 counselling today, May 14. You need to keep your 'DOST ID' ready to download the seat allotment result. Only those students who exercised the web options shall be eligible for inclusion in the seat allotment. If you are allocated a seat in Phase 1, the reporting can be done between May 15 and 23 ​​​​. On the other hand, if you are looking for a better allotment, you can exercise web options for Round 2 counselling from May 15 to 26. Students who did not get a seat in Phase 1 can exercise web options for the Phase 2 counselling.

Hello Amandeep,

SMDRSD College at Pathankot, Punjab offers a D.El.Ed programme. The eligibility criteria for this programme is to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates). Candidates with Reappear/Compartment/Result Later etc. are not eligible. Admission to the D.El.Ed programme at SMDRSD College is done on a merit basis. The last date for admission is not released by the college authorities. You can contact at 0186-2340205 or smdrsdedu@yahoo.co.in to know about vacancies. You must also check the website for updates.

Dear Deepak Kumar, 

Yes, you can apply for the SMDRSD College B.Ed course but first, you need to check you if you match the eligibility criteria of the college B.Ed course. The Eligibility criteria for the B.Ed course is as follows. 

  • You must be passed with at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification declared equivalent 
  • If you score less than 50% or less marks would not be eligible in SMDRSD College.
  • There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/BC of candidates.

Dear Damini, 

SMDRSD College does not offer BA courses at the college. The college offer admission in two courses namely B.Ed and D.El.Ed. Both these courses are from the field of education. To be eligible for a B.Ed course, you have to you need to have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree or any other qualification as approved by the authorities. However, for D.El.Ed course admission at SMDRSD College, merely a qualification of class 12 with 50% marks from a recognised board of education is required.
