Dear student,

For admission to Government S.P.M.R. College of Commerce, Jammu, admission to undergraduate programs (like B.Com, BBA, BCA) in the non-CUET category is primarily based on merit of your 10+2 (Class 12th) examination results.

While CUET is the primary mode of admission for many UG programmes, SPM R College does offer admission to non-CUET students. These admissions typically happen in subsequent rounds (e.g., Round 2, Round 3, or Spot Rounds) for leftover and upgraded seats after CUET-based admissions are completed.

Since non-CUET admissions are for leftover seats, the actual cutoff percentages will depend on the number of available seats after CUET rounds and the marks of other non-CUET applicants. Higher percentages in your 10+2 will naturally increase your chances.

Dear Jagjit,

Admission to the Govt. S.P.M.R College Commerce Undergraduate Semester-I programmes for the Session 2023-24 are through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) results which are administered by NTA. However, students who did not take the CUET must register on the admission portal by completing the application form on the admission website. After the admission of CUET candidates is completed, Non-CUET candidates will be given a fair chance of admission.

Hope this helps!
