The general library of the college is well stocked with 4295 books and 2550 titles. It subscribes 27 journals, 7 Magazines and 5 news papers. To make reading and learning updated, the college subscribes magazines in English and Malayalam. The general library is made available to the staff and student teachers on all working days from 9 am to 5 pm. Every year new books are added according to the changes in the syllabus, the needs of the student teachers and the staff. Books that are helpful to prepare for UGC, CTET, CTET, SET, KTET etc are also provided. The library is enriched with the audio-visual resources such as Educational CDs by SIET Kerala, Educational Videos, CDS on Personality Development, Power Point Presentations done by the members of the faculty etc. The text books, hand books, and Source books of high school and higher secondary classes are available in the library to help student teachers prepare for their teaching practice.The college maintains a well equipped ICT lab with 16 computers. The language lab facility is maintained there. Other facilities of its ICT at the college include a Smart Board, an OHP, LCD’s, one Television, one slide projector and a Tape Recorder with Radio. Internet facility is provided in the ICT Lab during the ICT hours in the timetable. The ICT Lab is used for the demonstration and the discussion of Discussion Lesson Plans, Demonstration Lesson Plans, Micro Teaching, Models of Teaching and other such innovative practices. The ICT Lab is also utilized for organizing teacher presentations and special seminars carried out by resource persons for both the faculty members and different core course student teachers.
