Class 10 pass for Diploma and 5-year Integrated Hotel Management; Class 12 for all UG courses; Graduation for PGDHM, MS, and MBA programmes. For MBA, ensure your graduation aggregate is at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/BC categories).
• Step 2: Fill the Application Form Apply online at sun.edu.in — click "Apply Now" on the homepage. Register with your email ID and mobile number, then fill in personal details, academic details, and your course and campus preference (City Campus or Beach Campus). Alternatively, download the application form from the website, fill it in block letters, and submit it at either the Visakhapatnam campus along with a Demand Draft for the application fee.
• Step 3: Pay the Application Fee The application fee for SIITAM Visakhapatnam is INR 10,500. Online mode: pay via Google Pay, PhonePe, or online money transfer at sun.edu.in. Offline mode: submit a Demand Draft payable to SUN International Institute for Tourism & Management along with the filled form at the campus admissions office.
• Step 4: Submit Required Documents Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents with the application (see documents section below). Originals are required at the time of document verification — do not send originals by post.
• Step 5: Application Review and Shortlisting SIITAM reviews applications and shortlists candidates based on marks in the qualifying exam. There is no fixed cutoff — merit is assessed relative to the applicant pool for that year. Shortlisted candidates receive a call or communication from the admissions team.
• Step 6: Attend the Personal Interview Report to the City Campus (Dwarakanagar) or Beach Campus (Sagarnagar) on the scheduled date for the personal interview. The interview is a basic interaction to assess communication ability, career intent, and course suitability. No technical testing is conducted.
• For MBA Students via AP ICET 2026: If you have appeared for AP ICET 2026 (exam: May 2, 2026), your rank can be used as an additional qualifier for MBA admission. After AP ICET results (expected last week of May 2026), AP ICET counselling begins in June 2026 through the APSCHE portal (cets.apsche.ap.gov.in). You can also apply directly to SIITAM Visakhapatnam through the institute's own admission process in parallel.
• Step 7: Receive the Offer Letter Selected candidates receive a formal offer letter from SIITAM Visakhapatnam. For MBA, candidates selected through AP ICET counselling receive seat allotment through the APSCHE portal.
• Step 8: Document Verification Report to the campus with original documents and self-attested photocopies for verification. Documents are checked by the admissions team and returned after verification.
