SUN International Institute for Tourism & Management Visakhapatnam Campus 2026: Facilities, Hostel, Infrastructure & Student Life

SUN International Institute for Tourism & Management operates two campuses in the city, located in Sagarnagar (Beach Campus) and Dwarakanagar (City Campus). Established in 2004, the institute focuses on tourism and hospitality education.

The Beach Campus, also known as SUN Senora Beach Campus, is situated near the ISKCON Temple on Beach Road. It is built within a hotel property, which allows BHM students to gain practical exposure in a live hospitality environment from the start.

Both campuses are affiliated with Andhra University, and are recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Beach Campus is about 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the railway station. The City Campus in Dwarakanagar is located near the RTC Complex and is well connected to the main city areas and public transport.

Both campuses are part of the Sun Educational Institutions Group, which has over 36,000 students across its campuses in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

Library

The SIITAM Visakhapatnam library holds 1,959 published books, 2,798 e-journals, 12,000 e-books, 38 subscribed print magazines and journals, 10 published newspapers, and subscriptions to 4 online newspapers

The library is an open-access facility with both physical and digital collections focused on hospitality management, business administration, food science, and tourism. Students can access e-journals and e-books from the library terminals and through campus Wi-Fi. The library also includes reference books, access to video lectures, and project book collections.

Sports and Recreation

SIITAM Visakhapatnam organises an annual Sports Week (Sunskar) — a full-week sports event where students compete across all campuses. Sports available include cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and other indoor and outdoor activities.
