Overall: Being a student at SIDTM (Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management), Pune, I can proudly say that it is one of the best institute for someone who wants to gain an edge over other B School graduates. Hailing from a Commerce background and being a fresher, I was quite unsure if I would be able to cope up with the curriculum and compete with my peers. But after being a part of SIDTM, I have realized that the institute provide equal opportunities to all students irrespective of the educational background they come from. The institute is committed to aligning its vision to the current industry needs and aims at developing managers who can adapt to the ever evolving business landscape will ease. The past few months at SIDTM have been extremely enriching and rewarding. It’s just been few months into the curriculum and I already see myself growing on personal as well as on professional front. There isn’t a single day when I don’t feel proud of my decision to choose SIDTM.

Placement: SIDTM (Formerly SITM) offers a fine blend of technology and management education to its students that aims at bringing excellent career for the last 24 years. SIDTM (Formerly SITM) has also been ranked the 4th Best B school in Pune and the 17th best B school in the western region by THE WEEK. It has time and again been validated by our strong nearby 100% placement record for eligible students since inception (1996). The telecom industry is an ever-growing industry and it is the backbone for all the digital technologies. Companies from various domains visit the campus recruitment. Different roles like a consultant, business development manager, revenue assurance, sales manager, assistant manager, team lead, relationship manager, business analytics, etc. are offered. The placements are not only restricted to the telecom industry but are spread across various sectors. Infrastructure: SIDTM (Formerly SITM) has one of the most beautiful campus among other B- Schools in India. The campus is located on the hilltop at Lavale. The environment is mesmerizing, especially during the rains, it’s a sight to behold. Our college provides all the basic facilities like gym, canteen, swimming pool, library, fruit juice shop, department store and mess. Moreover the institute provides all the necessary requirements for a residential campus. The classrooms are well-equipped with many facilities. The library at Symbiosis Lavale is one of the biggest libraries. We not only have books for offline reads but have an online library from where we can access any book from anywhere. The library has many popular journal databases, collaboration with various renounced publications which ensure quality education to all the students . The mess and canteen are nice and serves the purpose. Other facilities like sports, inbound and outbound activities, yoga and Zumba classes are also there.

Faculty: The faculty are well versed in the courses they teach. Moreover the Faculty is very supportive and is always ready to help. Many of the Faculty members are the experienced people from the industry which helps to students to gain industry insights as well. The curriculum at SIDTM is regularly updated keeping in the mind the dynamic requirements of the changing digital ecosystem. The teaching methodology followed at SIDTM comprises of case studies, industrial visits, guest lectures, webinars, and research projects. We can say that there are three major courses Systems (technology related subjects are more), Marketing (marketing/sales subjects are more) and Analytics (tools and also for analytics are concentrated upon) along with these there is importance given to Finance as well across the three major courses. Also, this doesn't mean that someone who has taken up Systems and Finance won't learn about Marketing. There are common subjects which teach the basic of each course.

Overall: Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management, Pune offers dual specialization, with Finance as a compulsory specialization. Being from an engineering background, I was completely unaware of Finance related subjects, but SIDTM ensured that I was well-versed with the basics of the subject. SIDTM offers bridge classes on Finance and Telecom for engineering and non-engineering students respectively. The faculty at SIDTM is quite friendly and caters to every basic doubt of the students. They encourage active classroom participation and interactive group discussions which helps the students to learn from each other and contributes to the holistic development

Placement: SIDTM has a set a consistent record of providing 100% placements to students every year. Companies across various domains like IT, Telecom, Marketing, Analytics visit the campus to recruit students. Equal opportunities are provided to students irrespective of them coming from varied professional backgrounds.

Infrastructure: SIDTM(Formerly known as SITM) is located on the lush green hills of Lavale in Pune. It comprises modern-day infrastructure facilities. All basic amenities like gymnasium, swimming pools, amphitheatre, basketball court, football ground are provided. The hostel rooms are well furnished and maintained with attached washrooms and the windows open to the beautiful breathtaking hills. The campus also consists of a two-storeyed mess where delicious and healthy food is served to the students. CISCO and IBM labs are also located in the campus.

Hostel: Students at SIDTM are provided with comfortable facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, very well built, furnished, and clean with a provision of twin, triple, and tetra sharing rooms with an attached washroom. The rooms are spacious enough, with every student having his personal space. Every student is provided with a cupboard, bed, table, chair, and dustbin. The windows of the room open to the breath-taking view of the beautiful green hills. Housekeeping comes daily to clean the rooms and the washroom. Guards and wardens are very cordial and sympathetic towards the children. Coming to the mess facilities, the institute ensures that students are provided with healthy and nutritious food, giving them a homely feeling. The menu is decided by the student representatives, with a variety of dishes every day.

Overall: SIDTM provides MBA in telecom management and creates Techno-managers which gives the students a very beneficial advantage over other MBA graduates because the course includes specific subjects related to the IT domain which ultimately helps in coping up with a very efficient way inside the Corporate. It provides a dual specialization degree in marketing & finance and systems & finance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is world-class. College gives full-time internet connectivity on the campus as well as the hostels. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snacks in the evening. The classrooms are very good, and the Wi-Fi facility is provided throughout the campus.
