SUAS Admissions 2024 is open. The Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences was founded by Dr S B Mujumdar, who is also serving as the president at SUAS. The University is driven by the Government motto ‘Make in India’ and takes immense initiatives towards developing modern skills among candidates that will lead to a lesser import and more production in India itself. 

The skill development programs are designed in collaboration with foreign industry experts and various universities and educational institutions. A lot of machinery used on the campus for teaching and learning purposes is imported from Germany to ensure perfection at its best.

Postgraduation

The selection process for the Master in Business Administration is based on graduation scores. Students need to secure 60% marks or equivalent grades for general category candidates in the qualifying examination. In case students have attempted the competitive exams. A good rank is required, or else the university will conduct certain rounds to understand the student mindset better, such as the presentation, group discussion, student portfolio and simulation games round. A few accepted exams are the SNAP/CAT/MAT/CMAT /XAT/MAH-CET or the SKILL-CAT exam held by the institute.

Bachelor in Technology

The selection criteria for the engineering course are based on common entrance tests only. Students need to attempt the exam and get a valid rank while ensuring they pass the Class 12 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following subjects: chemistry/biology/technical vocational subjects.

Undergraduate

The selection for BBA courses is made only if the student has secured 50% in their Class 12 examinations and can qualify for the entrance tests conducted by the Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences.

  1. Check the eligibility criteria for the course opted.
  2. Ensure the Class 12 percentage for an undergraduate course and Class 12 for the post-graduation course are met depending on the category of the student.
  3. Attempt the common entrance test for that particular course and attain a valid rank for a successful application.
  4. Once the above is achieved, apply for the selected course via the admission portal link posted above and pay the Rs 1100 application fee and the 1st-semester academic fee to complete the Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences application procedure.

How to Fill Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences Application Form?

The following application procedure can be followed to complete the successful application.

  1. Visit the official website of the university.
  2. Submit the full name as per the Aadhaar and enter the mobile number, email and date of birth. Kindly ensure the number and email are accurate to avoid communication gaps.
  3. Fill in the category, caste, reference and the complete Address.
  4. Next is to choose the program name and first preference.
  5. Update the Guardian details in this step
  6. The most crucial step is to update the Academic details in this step and update the academic details, examination name, Status, School/College Name, and the Percentage secured correctly.
  7. Now fill in the captcha correctly.
  8. Next is to pay the Rs 1000 application fee and then download or print the application form page to submit it in the counselling centre and at the college along with the DD/ cheque of 1st Instalment of academic fees, medical fees and caution money is drawn in favour of "The Symbiosis University of Applied Science", Indore.

Important Note:

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences Counselling Process 

Students who wish to take admissions based on merit quota are the ones who opt for counselling admissions. Counselling is a joint effort taken both by the private colleges. Universities and the Government to ensure a smooth enrollment into the professional courses.

Students attempt the standard entrance exams based on their ranks. They get the counselling dates and centres in ascending order. The better the rank, the more options to choose from.

Once the counselling notifications are out, students know their ranks and centres. Dates, they need to visit the centre with the following documents to ensure the allotment letter is released and successful admission is made.

All the documents listed below are not mandatory but good to have cause sometimes it could lead to rejection of a seat, and students would not want to take such a significant risk over a trivial documentation miss.

  • Caste certificate issued by the competent authority (for reserve category)
  • Caste validity certificate (all reserve category candidates except ST candidates).
  • Current/valid non-creamy layer certificate issued by the competent authority(for reserve category but not applicable to SC and ST)
  • Tribe validity certificate (only applicable to ST).

Miscellaneous Documents

  • Gap certificate (if applicable).
  • A change of name certificate is published in the Government gazette if applicable.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences Exams Accepted 

The following exams are considered for the courses listed:

  • Master in Business Administration: SKILL-CAT/ SNAP/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAH-CET exams admissions into MBA.
  • Bachelor in Technology: JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is accepted for admission into B.Tech.
  • Bachelor in Business Administration: Students do not have to attempt any entrance exam for admissions to the BBA program; instead they need to qualify for the personal interview round and internal entrance test conducted by the Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences BBA Admission

To get admission into the BBA course at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, students need to pass a Class 12 or equivalent examination in any discipline from any recognised board/council/university and get 50% marks for general category candidates belonging to the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Next is to qualify for the internal entrance test conducted by the university to gauge the skills, and the admission is confirmed if the student meets the criteria.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences B.Tech Admission

To enrol in B.Tech at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, students have to clear Class 12 examinations with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and biology/chemistry/technical vocational subject/biotechnology and secure at least 45% marks for the general category in the above subjects.

Depending on the location, a valid rank is also needed in any university notified of common entrance examinations. 

The same goes for foreign applications in engineering courses; they need to complete a Class 12 or equivalent examination from any foreign board and obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The AIU needs to verify all foreign qualifications before seeking provisional admission to any Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences programme. A total of 5% of seats are reserved for foreign applications.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:

  1. Complete the Class 12 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of biology/chemistry/technical vocational subject/biotechnology.
  2. Obtaining at least 45% marks for the open category in the above subjects taken.
  3. A minimum of 40% marks in the case of candidates belonging to the State of Madhya Pradesh in a reserved category in the above subjects.
  4. Ensuring a good run secured in the State/National level entrance exam as notified by the university. 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (Lateral Entry):

Direct Second Year admission into B.Tech.

  1. Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the respective branch of Engineering and Technology.
  2. Or else B.Sc degree from a recognised University in India as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed Class 12 examination with mathematics.
  3. Students belonging to the B.Sc stream shall clear the engineering graphics/ engineering drawing and engineering mechanics of the First-Year engineering programme and the Second-Year subjects.
  4. Students belonging to the B.Sc stream shall be considered with students belonging to the diploma stream.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences BSc Admission

The candidates who wish to apply for admission to the B.Sc course at SUAS, Indore will have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

The candidate must have passed class Class 12 from a recognised board.

The candidates must have studied the major subjects in 12th as mathematics and physics with one of the optional subjects as chemistry/ biology/ biotechnology.

The candidate must have passed in all the subjects at the qualifying exam level.

SUAS BSc Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for admission to the B.Sc course at SUAS, Indore is done on the basis of the qualifying exam score followed by a personal interview round.

SUAS BSc Admission Process

The candidates who fulfill the required eligibility criteria will be called for the interview process. The final selection will be done on the basis of the interview round. The selected candidates will have to submit the documents for verification and pay the fee to complete the admission process.

  5. In the scenario of candidates who do not have any entrance examination scorecard, the University will conduct its entrance examination at the university campus.
