The Training and Placement Cell at Oxford College of Science was formed to aid the students in their careers and help them build successful careers in their respective fields.

The Placement cell at Oxford College of Science basically has three main objectives- Training, providing placements and associating with the Alumni. All three objectives are interlinked to one another, and the placement cell works actively to give students the best platforms to launch their careers. 

Oxford College of Science has more than 100 companies that visit the Campus during placement drives. The recruiters are also categorized into public sector Undertakings (PSU), IT and IT-enabled services, consultancy firms, and banking. The students have full liberty to make their own choices. The placement cell trains the students with the help of the placement team as well as faculty members and alumni members in different fields. They want to ensure optimum opportunities for the graduates who pass out of Oxford College of Science.

• Corporate client interested in participating in the placement activity will revert with Job details along with a date for the pre-placement talk.
• Eligible & interested students nominate themselves for the said position by registering themselves.
• Corporate client & the Placement Department mutually decide on a date for drive.
• Results are announced by the client by the end of the day’s activity.

Summer Internship form an inevitable part of the teaching-learning system at Oxford College of Science. They expose the students to far more than just a glimpse of the internal working environment and current work practices at the companies. With access to real-life understanding of the matters related to execution of industry operations as well as deeper insight into industry regulations and practices, the students are also provided with the opportunity of interactive learning experiences outside the classroom.
