The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at The WB National University of Juridical Sciences in India require candidates to possess a Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in their LL.M. degree. Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET/JRF, SLET, or any other national level eligibility test are exempted from the entrance examination. However, they still need to go through the interview process. Applicants with relevant research and teaching experience in the field of law may also be given preference during the selection process.
