I dont have any clue of the Calcutta colleges, but I can surely tell you about LPUs LLB program. The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th. The vision of the school is studying by books is not a rule of Law. The course aims at preparing the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well-trained and dedicated professionals in the legal framework. It also aims at nurturing a graduate with in-depth knowledge of different aspects of laws comprising civil, criminal, taxation, and international laws and ensuring conceptual clarity for judicial services aspirants. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognized Law School at Lovely Professional University among the top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals.
