The United Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organised a factory tour at Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt Ltd, Patparganj, on December 4, 2021, with the topic "Understanding the Practical Knowledge of Dairy Products Manufacturing Process." The production process for dairy products such milk, ice cream, curd, and buttermilk was thoroughly and in-depth exposed to students and professors.
Under the supervision of the company's Head, TIS, Mr. R.K. Pillai, the students gained invaluable and practical understanding of the production process and supply chain management. Mr. R.K. United College of Engineering & Research pupils were shown the purification, filtration, standardisation, homogenization, and pasteurisation processes. Following that, the testing phase began, during which they checked the quality and purity of the milk according to standards.
Through this discussion session, pertinent questions from each student were addressed. Everyone received flavoured milk and ice cream after the factory tour.
