With a GATE 2024 score of 365 in Electrical Engineering, admission to top IITs is unlikely, as their cutoffs for EE usually range between **700–750+**, and even newer IITs often require scores above 600 for M.Tech programs. For NITs, a 365 may allow admission in some **lower-ranked NITs or reserved category seats**, but options will be limited and highly dependent on your **category, home state quota, and previous year cutoffs**. Considering opportunities, placements, and facilities, **LPU offers a better alternative for M.Tech in Electrical Engineering**, accepting GATE scores in this range, providing good labs, industry exposure, and campus placements for career growth.

With a **GATE 2024 score of 473 in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence**, getting into top old IITs is very tough because their cutoffs are usually **much higher (often 600‑700+)** for AI and related M.Tech programs. You may get chances at some **NIT / GFTI colleges like Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (AI/Data Science range ~466‑472 in recent rounds)** depending on category and counselling. Considering overall opportunities, placements, labs, and female scholarships, **LPU (Lovely Professional University) is a strong choice** for M.Tech in Data Science/AI with GATE score, as it offers direct admission, good curriculum, industry exposure, and support for female students.

Securing Microelectronics at BITS with a GATE score of 534 is competitive. Alternatively, LPU offers a robust M.Tech in VLSI with industry-aligned curricula and advanced labs. Admission is available via GATE or LPU’s own entrance exam, providing hands-on training and strong placement opportunities with top tech firms for aspiring engineers.

Dear Student,

Yes, it is possible to get admission to Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology with an 83 percentile in JEE Main 2025, especially if you are an OBC or EWS candidate. For general category candidates, the cutoff for B.Tech CSE can be around the 85-90 percentile. However, Galgotias also considers admissions through other means, including direct admissions based on board exam scores and other entrance exams. We hope that we have answered your query successfully. Stay tuned to College Dekho for the latest updates related to admissions, counselling and more. All te best for your great future ahead!

Hi student,

The BITSAT qualifying marks tend to vary based on different courses and campuses. Talking about some of the most popular courses, the expected BITSAT passing marks for BE Civil range from 237 to 239  marks (Pilani), 234 to 236 marks (Hyderabad), 237 to 239 marks (Goa); for the course of BE Electrical & Electronics, the BITSAT 2025 cutoff range from 291 to 293 marks (Pilani), 274 to 276 marks (Hyderabad), 291 to 293 marks (Goa) etc. Note that this data has been estimated keeping in mind the previous year trends. The official data might vary based on several factors such as the seat availability, exam difficulty, total number of exam takers, etc.

We hope this answer clears your query.
