The university accepts CUET scores for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses as per the Uttaranchal University admission criteria. Prospective students for UG courses need to qualify the CUET UG exam and participate in the counselling process conducted by the university. Similarly, CUET PG scores are considered for Uttaranchal University admissions to PG courses. • B.Tech admission is based on merit, calculated from marks secured in the qualifying examination and rank/merit in JEE-Main.
• For other UG courses like BBA, candidates are shortlisted based on merit in the qualifying exam, followed by an interview round. Selection is based on interview performance.
• Uttaranchal University admission to B.Pharm is merit-based, determined by marks secured in UUEE and 10+2.

• Uttaranchal University admission to M.Tech courses is based on entrance exams. Candidates need to have a valid GATE/UKSEE score to be eligible for admission.
• For MBA, candidates are selected based on their performance in the CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT exams conducted by IIMS. Those who do not have scores from any of the aforementioned exams must take the university's UUEE exam. Shortlisted candidates are required to go through the university's interview process. Following the interview, selected candidates must pay the Uttaranchal University admission fee to secure their place.
• For other PG Courses, Uttaranchal University admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam and performance in the interview.
