DIT University Admission 2026
DIT University admission 2026 is open at applications.dituniversity.edu.in. Applications are accepted year-round with no fixed closing date for most UG programmes. DIT University courses admission is given on a merit basis and on an entrance basis: national/state entrance exam or DUET (DIT's own test), and direct merit-based admission. For B.Tech, Class 12 board toppers with ≥95% PCM qualify for direct admission without any exam (10% seats reserved).
For admission in BTech courses, JEE Main scores are taken into consideration. JEE Main Paper 2 scores are accepted for DIT University admission in BArch. At the postgraduate level, the university accepts GATE and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/UKSEE for admission in MTech and MBA, respectively.
DIT University Entrance Test (DUET) is also conducted by the university for admission in MPharm, MTech, and PhD courses.

DIT University Scholarships 2026
DIT University offers 12 types of scholarships, from merit-based to special category. All scholarships reduce your tuition fee only (not hostel or mess). You can combine certain scholarship categories for a bigger discount. The more you score in Class 12 or JEE, the higher your savings. The total of all combined scholarships cannot exceed full tuition.

Best case example: A girl student from Uttarakhand scores 92% in Class 12 PCM and joins B.Tech CSE. She gets: 50% merit (A) + 25% UK state (B) + 10% girl scholarship (C) = 85% off her tuition fee in Year 1. As long as she stays in the top 10% of her batch, she keeps getting a merit scholarship in Years 2–4 as well.
Key Rules for the Maximum Scholarship:
Stacking rules: You can only pick one from A, B, or L as your main scholarship — whichever is highest. Then you can add C (girls), D (defence), E (sports), F (sibling), G (alumni), H/I/J (need-based) on top of that. The total can never cross 100% of your tuition fee. If you are from Uttarakhand and also scored high in boards, pick the higher of the two — you still keep the UK state discount for the rest of your programme.

Iske liye application forms November ya December me release ho jate hain. Admissions merit list ke basis par diye jaate hain. To secure admission in the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at DIT University, you must have passed with at least 60% marks in class 10 and aggregate 60% marks in class 12 in four main subjects namely English, Physics, Math with one of the best remaining subjects. A JEE Main score is necessary for admission to the university. Direct admission is granted to students who secured top positions in the board exams or those who have qualified with more than 95% marks in the 10+2 level. DIT University promotes academic talent and quality in its students. It grants merit-based scholarships to deserving students in an effort to encourage students towards academic success. At the time of enrollment, merit scholarships can be applied towards programme tuition fees based on the 12 standard percentages. Other than this, JEE Rank is also considered for merit scholarships for B.Tech programmes at DIT University based on PME & Chem/ Bio/ Comp/ Informatic Prac/ Engg scores. More than 90% or 1st rank holders are granted a 50% scholarship. 75% to 90% are granted 40% scholarship.
