• Once this has been filled, students can pay the application fee

• Once the application form for the respective course has been filled out, the students can take part in the Vels University counselling process that will be conducted on the basis of scores secured in the relevant entrance examinations. 
• During the counselling process, students are informed about their course options depending on the scores that they received in the internal entrance exam, national entrance exams, and previous qualifying examinations. 
• To increase their chances of getting admission, students must take part in the VEE, which is the internal exam of the university, as well as any other entrance exams like CAT, MAT or XAT for their respective courses. 
• Candidates can practice as many mock papers and past papers as possible in order to understand the pattern, the resources for which can be found on the official website of the organisation which is conducting the exam. 
• The counselling process is conducted by the university itself, except for national entrance exams in which case the central counselling system is facilitated by the state. 
• For Vels University admissions to the undergraduate courses, the selection will take place on the basis of scores in the VEE as well as 10+2 board examinations,  
• For Vels University admissions to the postgraduate courses, students will be able to take part in the Vels University counselling process on the basis of scores secured in the previous qualifying exam. 
• For Vels University admissions to the PhD programme, the master’s level programme scores are taken into account.

• The Vels University application process for the various courses is currently ongoing, so prospective students can commence their application process. 
• The application forms for the VEE exam were released in February, and the last date to apply for them was in April. The exam results were released in the month of May, and the counselling took place in June 2023.  
• The CAT examination is going to be conducted on the 27th of November, 2023.

• Candidates must pass 10+2 examinations to pursue the certificate courses.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 examinations to pursue courses such as B.Sc, BE, B.Tech, BA, B.Com, BCA, B.Pharm, LLB, BA, BPT and the diploma courses. 
• For all of the B.Sc courses, students need to have passed 10+2 board examinations in the science stream. 
• For the B.Tech course, subjects such as physics and mathematics are compulsory. 
• For the BCA and BPT courses, students need to have passed 10+2 board examinations in the science stream, and for the BCA course, mathematics is a compulsory subject. 
• For the rest of the commerce and law courses, students can apply from any stream. 

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised board for B.Ed, MBBS, M.Sc, MBA, MPT, ME, MA, PGD, M.Phil, M.Pharm, M.Tech, MCA and the LLM course.
