Vidyanagar College Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The students of Vidyanagar College actively participate in various sporting events at the University, District, State and some at the National level. Keeping in mind the enthusiasm of the students, the college has provided maximum facilities and opportunities to the students to practice different sports such as football, cricket, athletics, kho-kho. Recently the college has arranged for yoga classes conducted by a qualified yoga practitioner. A multigym has been conducted which will become functional very soon.

National Service Scheme (N.S.S) of Vidyanagar College works unflinchingly towards rousing social consciousness among the students. One hundred student volunteers are selected who work for 240 hours for a period of two years after which they are awarded certificates. They work in an 'adopted village' for 7 days during the special camping programme and enrich and motivate themselves through the social service they provide towards the village. NSS works with the slogans 'Campus to Community' and 'not me but you' through which a volunteer is steered towards becoming a responsible citizen of tomorrow. NSS volunteers of Vidyanagar College have recieved laurels and awards from the University of Calcutta, such the best Programme Officer, the best NSS District, the best NSS Unit and the best volunteer (Male). Quite a few of them achieved distinction at the national level by participating in various socially oriented programmes.
