CTET Application Form February 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education is scheduled to close CTET Application Form February 2026 today, December 18. However, based on the previous year's trends, there is a chance of an extension of the last date. Though nothing has been officially announced by the officials yet, it usually gets extended every time. Until there is a formal update by the officials, candidates must consider today as the last date for registration. If you have not registered yet, you should do it at ctet.nic.in as early as possible.

IGNOU January 2026 Registration: Indira Gandhi National Open University has reopened IGNOU January 2026 Registration today, December 17. If you are eligible, you can apply against January 2026 fresh academic sessions in the online distance learning and online programmes by January 31, 2026. You need to create a portal and log in at www.ignou.ac.in to register for the said examination. The registration form-filling process includes entering details, uploading documents, and paying the registration fees. If you are exploring Universities for pursuing Distance B.Ed course, then you must check for two basic approvals. Firstly, the university must be UGC recognised (through the Distance Education Bureau: DEB). Secondly, the B.Ed programme itself must be approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which is offered by many colleges and institutions. Students must note that there will always be a risk of your degree getting rejected if any institution offering Distance B.Ed does not match both the criteria. Your qualification for CTET, state TETs, and government school recruitment will be rejected without DEB and NCTE approval even if you have completed all exams and paid the full fee.​
