12th Marks:

Except for a few courses, almost all courses offered by the VGI institute need a class 12 marksheet to seek admission. General category applicants need at least 45% marks in 10+2, whereas reserved category applicants require 40%.

VSAT:

All applicants have to appear in the VSAT Entrance Exam 60 minutes. The test has all 40 Questions with 4 sections:

General Awareness - 10 questions

Reasoning - 10 questions

Aptitude - 10 questions

English - 10 questions

The test will be in two languages only - English and Hindi Language. There is no option for negative marking for wrong answers. Each participant can attempt the test maximum of 3 times. Digital Certificate will be awarded to all participants.

Step 1: The admission process for Vikrant Group of Institutions is wholly offline, but the applicants need to visit the institution's website to download the application form. Hover over the admission tab on the homepage to open a side menu. Under this, click on ‘Admission form’. The list of courses appears; choose the course you are applying for and click on it. The application window opens. In the application window, one can find the form which needs to be downloaded. There are three options available in the application tab. One is for B.Tech and Diploma, another is for MBA and PGDM, and BBA, BCA & B.Com. The candidate needs to visit the college for the remaining courses and get the forms. 

Step 2: After choosing the course, download the application form and take a printout of it once the application form appears. Once the applicant takes a printout, he/she should fill-up the form. If the applicant has any difficulties filling up the form, he/she should call up the admission department, and they would be addressing the candidate's queries regarding the admission procedure. 

Step 3: The application form asks for the stream for which the applicant is applying. Select all the courses for which one is applying, like B.Tech, for example; one may choose all the streams or one or two. After choosing the courses, the applicant must enter their name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth, which should be as per the 10th board marksheet, gender, and category.  

Step 3: After which, the applicant must enter their permanent address, correspondence address, city, state, and pin code. The form also asks for the parent's phone number and the student's phone number. The student must enter the parent’s or guardian’s email address and their mail id. This is very important, and the contact details must be entered carefully as they cannot be changed. Moreover, all the admission information will be sent to the contact details mentioned by the student. 

Step 4: The student then needs to enter their Family ID or Samagra ID and the student’s Aadhaar Number.   

Step 5: After one has completed filling in their details, the student should enter his/her academic details carefully. This should be done carefully as any mistake in the filling up of details may lead to the cancellation of the application. The candidate needs to enter the institute's name where they studied at different levels of education, year of passing, their subject, percentage and total marks. The different examinations include 10th, 12th, ITI/Diploma, Graduation and Post Graduation. Enter whichever applies to one. In case of any doubts, it’s best to contact the institution rather than fill in the wrong details. 

Step 6: The candidate is then required to fill up their entrance exam details such as the name of the exam, roll number and marks obtained. Write N/A in case the applicant did not give any exam.  Choose all the facilities one needs, such as NCC, hostel, education loan and scholarship. After this, the candidate needs to name, mobile number of themselves, their signature and left thumb impression, the signature of parents and signature of reference, if any, and their name and mobile number. After this, all the details will be filled up by the admission office.  

Step 7: Once the form is filled up, the candidate must affix their photograph and attach the required documents. Some documents required are Transfer Certificate, marksheet of 10th, Registration Card of Class 12, Aadhar Card, marksheet of 12th, Admit Card of Class 10, Character Certificate, Admit Card of Class 12 and Migration Certificate.

Step 8: After this, the applicant must visit the campus and go to the admission department for approval. The applicant needs to pay the application fees (non-refundable) of Rs 500 to the office in the case and ask them to fill up the payment details section of the form. 

Step 9: After that, submit the photocopies of all the attested documents and the application form. The applicant then needs to wait to complete the verification process, and they will be informed about their admission to the institute. 

Step 10: The candidate may be called for examination and PI & GD round for MBA and PGDM courses. The candidate may choose to give VSAT for other prizes for other courses. After completing the exam, the results would be announced, and a selection letter would be mailed to the candidate.
