LPU is not the only a university, it's like a city, and then you need not stay outside. It is like a home away from home. Everything is available on the campus and safe for you. The LPU hostels are more convenient, and staying outside the campus is not safe. As LPU is itself a mini town in its periphery. Students do not need to pass the gates of LPU for any essentials, you just name the thing and it is available inside the LPU campus only. Safety Concerns : The whole campus means every nook is Covered with CCTV cameras. Outsiders are not allowed to enter the University campus without a GATE pass. In fact, the staff who does not have RFIDs of their conveyance are not allowed to enter without the GATE pass. Girls are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents are taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specifics in the particular time duration of 7 pm, and they cannot escape from hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till 9 pm maximum. Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs of time and will be accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are handled by the women security guards only. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. Any offensive act is not at all appreciated inside the campus and results in strict actions being taken against such action by the University. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. The following amenities are provided to the students rooms are Iron Bed, Plastic Chair, Study Table, Almirah, Geyser, AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable). 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU is 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. Wooden Box Bed, Plastic Chair , Study Table ,Almirah,AC,Geyser.
