About APICET 2018

Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test, commonly known as a state-level entrance exam, is conducted for admission into Post-graduate courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA). APICET is taken after the completion of Bachelor’s Degree in any stream, and this common entrance test is valid only for the colleges situated in Andhra Pradesh. APICET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for APICET 2018 must fulfill the below eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority.

Age Limit

There is no age limit to apply for APICET 2018

Nationality

  • Applicant has to be an Indian National.

  • Applicant belonging to any other nationality should follow the rules prescribed by the university.

Domicile

Applicants must fulfill the local/non-local status laid down by Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

Educational Criteria

For MCA Applicants:

  • Applicants should have 3 years of Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.

  • Applicants should have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (45% in the case of reserved categories).

  • Final year applicants can also apply for the entrance exam.

  • Applicants must have cleared class 12th with Mathematics subject.

For MBA Applicants:

APICET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • APICET 2018 is conducted in offline (pen and paper-based) mode only.

  • APICET 2018 consists of 200 multiple type of questions, and each question carries 1 mark.

  • Candidates will have to choose one correct response from the four options.

  • The total exam duration of APICET 2018 is 2.5 hours.

APICET 2018 Result

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati has declared the APICET 2018 result online on its official website. Candidates can enter their Registration number and Hall Ticket number to view their scores. The result of APICET 2018 will be displayed in the form of a scorecard that will have the Name of the candidate, Section-wise marks, Hall ticket number, Overall marks and Rank of the candidate.

Based on the scores obtained by candidates in the entrance exam, the exam conducting authority will prepare a merit list, which will include the names of the qualified candidates.

According to news reports, 45037 students have qualified the exam. This year, the overall pass percentage is 92.60, which is 6% more than the previous year. AP ICET is a state-level, annual entrance exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into MBA and MCA programmes offered in Andhra Pradesh. This year, the exam was carried out on May 2, 2018.

After the declaration of the APICET 2018 result, the counselling process for APICET 2018 will commence. The counselling process of APICET 2018 is conducted for admission of the candidates into various MBA and MCA courses offered by the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam and meeting the cut-off list prepared by the university will be called to participate in the counselling process of APICET 2018.

In order to get admission in various institutions, qualified candidates must appear in the APICET 2018 counselling. The seat allotment will be based on the rank obtained in the APICET 2018.

  • Candidates participating in APICET 2018 counselling will have to first register on the website.

  • Candidates taking part in web counselling, will be provided Registration number and Password to proceed further.

  • The counselling of APICET 2018 will be as per the ranks obtained by the candidates and the Merit list.

  • APICET 2018 includes document verification, seat allotment and admissions.

  • For counselling process, candidates will have to select the college/stream according to their ranks.

APICET Admit Card 2018

APICET admit card 2018 was issued on 25th April, 2018 by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. The APICET hall ticket 2018 is available in online mode for the candidates whose applications have been successfully accepted.
