About AP ICET 2023 (Counselling Ongoing)

The first phase of the AP ICET 2023 counselling registration process started on September 8, on the official portal at icet-sche.aptonline.inand will continue till September 23, 2023 (extended). The online certificate verification process is currently being conducted between September 9 to September 25, 2023. Exercising AP ICET 2023 web options can be done from September 26 to September 29, 2023, while the allotment of seats will take place on October 3, 2023. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the AP ICET counselling 2023 in several stages, including registration, document verification, web options entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college.

The AP ICET result 2023 was released on June 15, 2023, and theexam was conducted on May 24, 2023, in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 150 minutes in various cities across India. This year, the AP ICET 2023 exam was conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of  APSCHE. Following previous years' trends, the exam was held over a window of two days and two slots in 43 cities across Andhra Pradesh.

As per the data shared by APSCHE, around 64,884 candidates appeared for the AP ICET last year out of which 40,000 (approx.) qualified. There was no change in the AP ICET 2023 exam pattern and the question paper had 200 questions in MCQ format from three sections- Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. A mobile application named “APSCHE myCET” is also available for timely updates regarding the entrance exam. AP ICET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

AP ICET 2023 eligibility criteria set the benchmark for the candidates to apply for the exam. Candidates must first check the required eligibility criteria before filling out the application form to avoid any rejection or cancellation. Only the candidates who meet the minimum AP ICET eligibility criteria 2023 must apply for the exam. 

AP ICET Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • All applicants must be Indian nationals.
  • Candidates must also fulfill the local/non-local status requirements as prescribed by the Government. 

Educational Qualifications

  • All candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university/college.
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply against cancellation if they do not meet the required percentage after the declaration of the graduation results.
  • For MBA admissions candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate for all general category candidates. And ST/SC/BC candidates must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation from any stream without any specialization preference.
  • Meanwhile, for MCA admission general category candidates must score a minimum of 50% aggregate and ST/SC/BC candidates must scores 45% aggregate with Mathematics subject in the minimum of two examinations
  • Further, candidates from distance learning or open learning may also apply if the degree is recognized by the AICTE, UGC, or DEC.

AP ICET 2023 Application Form

The candidates must fill out the AP ICET 2023 application form to appear for the exam. Candidates must carefully fill out all the required details in the application form. In case of any false or incomplete information, the application may be canceled. The AP ICET application form 2023 must be filled out online. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Registration

  • Candidates must first register themselves on the official website. 

  • Visit the official AP ICET website. 

  • Enter the necessary information to register.

Step 2: Pay the Application Fee

Before filling out the application form, candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 550 (all categories) after the registration process.

The application fee can be paid through three modes:

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • AP Online

  • E-Seva/MeeSeva

To pay directly through a Debit/Credit card, candidates may simply enter the details of the card and complete the fee payment.

To pay using the E-Seva/MeeSeva or AP Online candidates will have to log in using their transaction ID in the form along with the Payment Receipt received at the AP online center while paying the amount. 

Step 3: Fill out the Application Form

To complete the application form, candidates will have to enter a few essential details of the candidate in AP ICET 2023 application form. Candidates will have to enter the following details

  • Candidate's Personal Details 

  • Address of the Candidates (Permanent and Correspondence)

  • Minority Status of the candidate

  • Local Area Status

  • Annual Income of the Family/Parents

  • Class 12/Intermediate Degree details

Step 4: Upload the Documents

Candidates will have to upload their signature and passport-size photograph. The passport should be recent. Upload the documents in the prescribed format.

Review the application form after entering all the essential details. Complete the form by submitting it. Make sure to check thoroughly before submission. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
