Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

• The College maintains its infrastructure by grants from the UGC, MP funds, the State Government and by fees collected from the students. Besides classes, the College authorities utilise its premises for PSC and Bank examinations, the JEE and ISI Entrance Tests, etc.
• The College has a Central Library but no book bank facility is available. An Advisory Committee looks after the Library, which has 25835 books and subscribes to six Journals.
• The system of issuing the books should be more scientifically organised, pending the computerisation of the Library.
• The College has two big playgrounds, a concrete pitch for cricket practice, and various sports equipment.

A Girls’ hostel has been built with the UGC special Grant and College Development fund. This new hostel will enable girl students from distant places to pursue their studies in this institution, an opportunity which many desiring candidates have so long missed because of this infrastructure related inadequacy. The Girls’ Hostel, named after Madame Curie, is the newest feather in our cap. Another hostel named Ashapurna Devi Girls’ Hostel has been completed with the aid of U.G.C. funds. Nearly 200 accommodations are available.
