• Students are selected for VMOU PhD admissions based on their performance in the entrance test and the following personal interview. The university releases a VMOU PhD merit list for final admission. Students must note that if they have qualified for the UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE/ SET exam, they are exempted from the VMOU PhD entrance exam. However, the personal interview is mandatory for all candidates.
• Candidates are also given a weightage of 10 marks in the final merit (written test and interview) if they have:
