For BTech colleges in India admissions,andidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 60% marks from a recognised board. Usually, the admission process begins in April/ May/ June every year for M.Tech and B.Tech in popular engineering colleges in India.
It is always better to clear the national-level entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main for B.Tech/ GATE for M.Tech for better admission chances.
Top private engineering colleges and deemed universities in India reserves a limited number of seats for management quota admission in B.Tech and M.Tech.
For M.Tech, top engineering colleges charge a minimum of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum.

M.Tech admission in engineering colleges across the country is either based on GATE/ State-Level Entrance Exam/ Direct admission process.
