TANCET 2025 Exam

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, commonly known as TANCET is a state-level entrance exam for admission to courses like MBA, MCA, MTech, MArch, and MPlan in the state of Tamil Nadu. Approximately 230 colleges participate in the TANCET exam to provide admission to the MBA and MCA courses. The TANCET exam is conducted by Anna University.

Anna University conducted the supplementary counselling for the MCA on August 5, 2025, whereas the MBA supplementary counselling is being conducted on August 6, 2025. Earlier, the provisional seat allotment result for MBA was released on MBA on August 4, 2025. TANCET 2025 Seat Allotment

TANCET 2025 Seat Allotment will be released post counselling sessions. Candidates will be able to participate in the TANCET seat allotment 2025 after the release of the rank list. Candidates will be assigned places at TANCET participating colleges depending on their ranks and preferences. TANCET counselling will be held in one round at DTE, Chennai. Following that, DTE begins the additional counselling phase. TANCET supplemental counselling will be held to replace the unfilled seats left over after general counselling.

Anna University published theTANCET result 2025. Candidates can check their scores and rank in TANCET 2025 by downloading the result and mark sheet using their login details. All shortlisted applicants will have to provide this mark sheet throughout the TANCET 2025 admissions procedure.

TANCET Answer Key 2025

Anna University released the final answer key for the TANCET exam on April 17, 2025. Earlier, the provisional answer key was released on April 4, 2025. Check the steps to access the TANCET final answer key below:

TANCET Merit list 2025

DTE Chennai has released the TANCET Merit List 2025 for MBA/MCA on July 14, 2025. TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 has been released by Anna University at tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet. To be eligible to apply for TANCET 2025, candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements set by the authorities as a part of TANCET eligibility criteria 2025. To be eligible for various postgraduate programs, candidates must meet specific criteria. For MBA, a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is required. For MCA, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in BCA, B.Sc., or any other bachelor’s degree that includes mathematics in 10+2 or graduation, with the TANCET exam not having an upper age limit.
