WBJEE Rank Trends: How Paper Difficulty Alters Your Final Rank

Your WBJEE Rank is highly affected by the paper difficulty of that particular year. If this year the paper becomes slightly easier than last year, then your rank will be affected by a huge margin. The difficulty level of the paper is inversely proportional to the rank, which means if the paper was difficult, then the rank will rise, and if the paper was easy, then the rank will go down. However, since the WBJEE is particularly difficult, you only need around 100 marks to get a rank below 1000.

WBJEE Marking System 2026
