While GMAT Online Test gained popularity amidst the Covid-19 pandemic when the GMAT test centers had to be closed temperory, the registration for conventional GMAT is also open.

Testing is reopening in many testing centres in India. In order to ensure the health and safety of all GMAT candidates, new procedures have been put in place in test centres. Find the same below:
Face Masks: Surgical or cloth masks may be used. Candidates are required to wear the face mask through the exam and those without a face-covering will not be allowed to take the test.
Social Distancing: A minimum distance of six feet will be required when in a GMAT testing centre. To comply with the regulations, the number of appointments per day has been reduced.
Sanitizing Procedures: All GMAT test centres have adopted enhanced measures, including providing hand sanitizer and tissues at the centres and in waiting areas. All devices and equipment at each testing station will be sanitised throughout the day.
Not Sure Where to Take the GMAT Exam?
If you have chosen to take your GMAT tests at the test centre, you will be required to follow certain regulations and guidelines. Here are the steps you need to take at a GMAT test centre while checking in:
Present the required identification document.
Provide a palm vein scan.
Provide a digital signature, agreeing to the Test Taker Rules & Agreement.
Sit for a digital photograph

A valid identification document at the GMAT test centre is extremely important. Find what all documents are valid to be able to take the test:
Government-issued national/state identity card
Government-issued driver’s license
Important points to remember about the ID for GMAT test centres and what it should include:
The ID must be current (not expired) and legible
Must have the candidate’s name exactly as provided for test appointment, including the order and placement of the names
Date of birth should match the date provided while registering for GMAT
A recent, valid photograph
Signature and date of birth
Unacceptable forms of identification would include expired passports or driver’s licenses, passport cards, social security cards, draft classification cards, credit cards, employee or student IDs, letters from university or college, IDs with physical descriptions in place of photos, photocopies of any form of ID.

Which IDs will be accepted at GMAT test centres?
Passport, government-issued national/state identification card and government-issued driver’s license are the identity documents that will be accepted at GMAT test centres. In India, Aadhar card will also be considered an acceptable ID for the online version of the GMAT.
