AKTU Admission: The NTA has released the CUET schedule. As per the schedule, CUET UG 2024 will be conducted from May 15 to May 31, 2024. On the other hand, for AKTU PG admission, the NTA will conduct CUET PG from March 11 to March 28, 2024. 

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is a public state university established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2000. It was previously known as the UP Technical University (UPTU). The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). At present, there are more than 764 AKTU affiliated colleges. In NIRF Ranking 2023, the affiliated colleges of AKTU i.e. NIET Noida and KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad secured 42nd and 88th place in the pharmacy category, respectively.

The AKTU courses are offered in the fields of engineering, technology, management, architecture etc. Some of the popular courses offered by the university are B.Tech, B.Pharm BFA, BBA + MBA integrated, MCA, M.Tech, M.Plan, MBA etc. AKTU admissions are granted on the basis of the valid scores obtained by the candidates in certain national-level or state-level entrance examinations. The accepted exams are JEE Main, GATE, CUET UG, CUET PG, CMAT, NATA, etc.

The AKTU placements are looked over by the central training and placement cell (CTPC). AKTU provides scholarships to meritorious students from low-income groups. ATKU counselling 2023 will be conducted for admission in B.Tech courses to the university and its affiliated colleges. The university has released the schedule for Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2023. Based on JEE Main scores, candidates will be offered admission in B.Tech courses. AKTU cut off 2023 will be updated here once it's officially released. The university accepts different exams for admission in different courses. AKTU B.Tech cutoff is derived from JEE Main scores. The university cut-off for majority of the UG and PG courses is derived from CUET UG and CUET PG scores, respectively. AKTU Courses and Eligibility Criteria

The university has developed an one view portal for all the information related to result. AKTU one view is a common platform where students can easily find information related to academics, attendance, admit card, result etc. at just one click. The portal is used by the university to maintain students record. AKTU result, merit list, cut off etc. are all released at the portal. Steps to Check AKTU Result at One View

• Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website of AKTU.
• Next, they need to click on the AKTU result tab. 
• Then a new window will open i.e. AKTU one view.
• Candidates need to enter examination roll number to login.
• Once logged in, candidates result will appear on the screen. 

Engineering, technology, management, architecture, pharmacy, and computer application courses are available at the UG, PG, and PhD levels at the university. AKTU admissions are based on legitimate scores received by candidates in specified national-level or state-level entrance tests. Exams accepted include JEE Main, GATE, CUET UG, CUET PG, CMAT, NATA, and others. To advance in the selection process, candidates must meet the AKTU Lucknow cut off list as well. 

Candidates for B.Tech must provide their JEE Main scores as well as participate in the UPTAC counselling procedure. Admission to UG programmes such as B.Pharm/ BFAD/ BHMCT/ BDes/ BFA/ BVoc will be based on the CUET UG test, which will be administered by the NTA. Students will also have to go through Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) sessions as part of the MBA admissions process. The AKTU admission process is completed entirely online via the website for the dedicated entrance tests. CUET manages admissions for UG and PG programmes, as well as lateral entry courses. Students can apply by following the steps indicated below:

• Visit the official website of CUET (cuet.samarth.ac.in).
• Click on the Application link for the preferred course.
• Register now by entering information such as your name, email address, mobile number, and so on.
• During the registration procedure, create a password for future logins and then click the 'Submit' button.
• You will receive a registration number via email and mobile phone after successfully enrolling.
• Fill out the application form completely, including your password and registration number.
• Scanned images of your signature and photos should be uploaded.
• Pay the application fee with a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Following payment, you will receive an email and a text message confirming successful payment to your email and cell number.

AKTU Placements - Training and Placement Cell

The AKTU Placement Cell conducts several workshops and seminars on soft skills training, personality development, and self-motivation. It also conducts placement camps, guest lecture training, and trade fairs with the goal of bringing recruiters and students under one roof. The placement cell of AKTU consists of students as well as senior faculty members as coordinators or placement teams, who interact with industries, organizations, universities, and MNCs to facilitate the AKTU placement drive in the affiliated college campuses for job opportunities for its students with high-end packages as per their aspirations and skills. 

The AKTU placement process often starts in September with the campus drive of top firms having national and international reputations. As per the AKTU placement report of 2021, nearly 75% of the students had been placed in their desired fields and positions according to their aspirations and skills. AKTU Lucknow offers financial assistance in the form of scholarships to meritorious students belonging to the reserved category under the UP State Scholarship scheme regulations. Every year, the Uttar Pradesh state government releases a notification about fee reimbursement for every student of AKTU-affiliated colleges. AKTU Lucknow scholarship facilities for UG and PG students help the students with financial assistance and reward academic performance. Students enrolled in AKTU get access to register themselves for AKTU fee-waiver scholarship schemes through the scheme of the "Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System of UP State." 

Students can register themselves online for AKTU Scholarship by visiting the official fee grant portal of AKTU, which is designed for fee reimbursement procedures that are mentioned below:

AKTU Fee-waiver Scholarship Schemes Eligibility

• Candidates must be enrolled in UG courses at any of AKTU-affiliated colleges
• Candidates should be from SC, ST, or OBC category
• The family income of the candidate should not be more than 1 lakh per annum

In addition to this, AKTU Scholarship is entitled to provide financial assistance to its M.Tech students in the form of a stipend worth Rs 18,000 per month through the ministry of Human Resources Department. To be eligible for this Stipend, only one condition is there. He or she must have qualified for the GATE entrance exam.

Candidates enrolled in the Ph.D. program at AKTU on a regular basis are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 from MHRD for the first two years of the program and a monthly stipend of  Rs 35,000 for the next three years of the course of study; after completing five years, if students are still working on their Doctoral degree, then they are provided monthly financial assistance of Rs 12,000 for only one year. Ph.D. scholars are eligible for Stipend only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.

• Hostel – Some affiliated colleges are equipped with a hostel facility, while a few are not. However, the colleges that don't have hostel facilities are provided with the nearest PG rooms available at affordable rent rates. Hostels are provided with recreational facilities such as TVs, health clubs, indoor games, and PCOs. Each hostel has its live-in wardens and a faculty member who administers the accommodation. It is to be noted that admission to AKTU doesn't ensure guaranteed hostel accommodation due to the limited capacity of the hostels. AKTU  offers accommodation to applicants based on different factors. 
• Gym - The gymnasium is part of a few colleges of AKTU facilities. Students can take care of their health and fitness by making use of this gymnasium facility provided by the University. The gym is well-equipped with exercise and training equipment. The gym helps the students to stay fit and healthy.
• Sports – The college campuses have outdoor and indoor games facilities for students' recreation, including basketball, badminton, tennis courts, cricket, and football grounds. The campus sports ground also has a running track. University also promotes sports like weight lifting, taekwondo, trekking, and mountaineering. 
• Cafeteria – The air-conditioned cafeteria facilities provided by the University include Chinese, Indian, and south Indian cuisines. There is another split cafeteria available for coffee and snacks on the campus. The quality and number of cafeterias vary with different colleges.
• Auditorium – AKTU has as many auditoriums as there are colleges it has affiliated with it. These auditoriums are used for academic talks, conferences, seminars, slide and film shows, demonstrations, lectures, workshops, etc. The capacity of auditoriums and facilities it has attached with it varies with College.
• Wifi – The University has high-speed wifi connectivity in all laboratories, libraries, hostels, auditoriums and seminar halls, and even guest houses. The campus has been using the new standard for next-generation wireless technology for wifi networks so that the teachers, students, and support staff can easily access the data, voice, multimedia, and video conferencing services as well as research, e-learning, and business applications.
• IT Infrastructure – AKTU Lucknow has set up facilities for the in-house use of E-mail, Computers, and internet services for all students, project staff, and faculty members. This unit of the University offers a variety of E-services to the students in the context of literature search, computation, and graphics.
• Laboratories – AKTU Lucknow laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with various modern instrumental facilities inside them related to all the fields. They are sophisticated but well-equipped, and more than 40 students can perform their experiments simultaneously. The instruments available in the laboratory include UV spectrophotometer: Double beam OD measurement, Magnetic stirrer, Multi-parameter: 6 parameters, namely pH, TDS, ORP, Salinity, Temp, millivolt, Hot air oven, and Digital oven, Rotary flask shaker, UV transilluminator, Dual Orbitex shaker with compressor and many more. For every branch, the University has provided modern instruments-equipped laboratories such as Civil Engineering labs, computer labs, mechanical labs, Google code labs, automation labs, language labs, nanotechnology labs, cyber city labs, textile dyeing labs, and textile printing, designing, and manufacturing labs.
• Convenience stores – The AKTU campuses are provided with departmental stores facility in a few of its colleges to facilitate students' daily shopping. The numbers may vary from College to College.
