AKTU MCA : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: Hi, I am Shashank. After I completed my MCA and did job for a while, I thought doing MCA would be good. I got admission into AKTU main campus. Teaching style is impressive and covers everything important. I learnt many coding languages such as python, SQL, C++, Javascript on an advanced level. Before campus placements, were were given basic training about interview questions. Teachers guided us on how to dress and speak. Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, were some of the top companies that visited. Some digital marketing jobs were also mentioned.

Placement: AKTU MCA placements were good. However, highest package of around 1 crore was landed by students from B. Tech. I was [placed at a decent package at TCS as a trainee. Most of the companies that visited were IT companies. some of the students were finding it hard as they wanted jobs of other profiles. still our batch did great and most of the students got placed. Average package that year was around 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: I got to visit and explore campus in the 3rd sem after the lockdown finally ended. We had online classes and it was refreshing to go to college. Classrooms were kept clean and some of them were fitted with AC. every department had their own library and one big central library available to all students.

Faculty: Teachers took our online classes in the starting when we were not allowed to go to college. they helped us with notes and guided us the best they could. We also had a mentor-mentee program where students could talk about their problems with teachers personally. It was a bliss to finally take classes physically. learning in classrooms and interacting with other students broadened my knowledge.

Hostel: AKTU hostels are available at an affordable prices. I stay at Vishwakarma's boys hostel and it take ten minutes to walk to my class from my room. Food is fine but more nutritious options can be introduced . Hostels are governed by wardens and if a student want to leave campus for some work they can do so by informing the warden and coming before 7 pm.
