Overall Infrastructure of this university is so good as it is having all the facilities like labs with well maintained equipment and library with all the related books and faculties members are very supportive in placement process.

Overall College has a good infrastructure and also provides Good placement to all the students. The teachers comprising seasoned professionals and scholars ensuring a better curriculum and good learning experience.

Overall The reason why I chose Annamalai University for my MBA is because it is the most reputed university nearby my hometown. The Department of Business Administration shares more than 40 years of history. The department has awarded around 330 PhDs to date. So, I joined its MBA Dual Specialisation programme in 2022 and currently, I am in my 2nd year.

Placement Annamalai University’s rich background in higher education makes it the right destination for recruiters. University provides all kinds of infrastructural support to the recruiters to attract them more for placements. In 2022 alone, 1,214 students from the two-year PG courses were successfully placed. If we talk about the median salary range, it was around Rs 4 LPA. I shall also participate in the next year’s placement round.

Infrastructure The psychology and computer labs at our department really help us with our academic studies. There is also a seminar hall wherein seminars and other events are conducted by the department. We also have access to the central library, yoga centre, and other sports facilities. I should mention here that our department regularly publishes three magazines and three journals by students and faculty members.

Faculty The faculty strength of our entire department is phenomenal. There are more than 70 teachers. While they are kind and supportive, they can be very strict when it comes to attendance and assignments. In case someone fails to meet the attendance requirements, they can be barred from the semester exam. They are also really strict with assignment deadlines.

Hostel Our university campus has a total of 19 hostels. My hostel’s name is Mullai Illam Hostel and our MG Block is dedicated to MBA students. I pay around Rs 55,000 per year, including both hostel and mess charges. Hostels come with good food, drinking water, a playground, and other recreational facilities. We also use the canteen to get all the necessary items for our daily use.

Overall My overall experience as an MBA student at Annamalai University has been satisfactory. I passed out in the year 2019. I was admitted on the basis of the entrance exam. If you are planning to be admitted to the MBA programme, you must fill out the TANCET online application form. The academic curriculum is comprehensive and covers various aspects of business management. I had good relations with teachers and seniors, which helped me secure good academic relations. The teachers are very supportive not only in academic terms but also outside of the university campus.

Placement I was placed in the leading organisation during the campus placement drive. Annamalai University offers decent placement opportunities for MBA students. In the 2022 batch, more than 700 students were placed, which indicates a reasonably good placement record. The university collaborates with top recruiters such as Tech Mahindra, Apollo Pharmacy, Capgemini, HCL, and Byju’s, providing students with opportunities to secure placements in reputed companies.

Infrastructure The infrastructure at Annamalai University is average. The campus has basic facilities required for academic pursuits, including classrooms, a library, and computer labs. However, there is room for improvement in providing more advanced facilities and resources for MBA students.

Faculty Faculty at the university bring practical insights and real-world examples into the classroom, which adds value to the learning experience. However, I sometimes felt the language barrier and the university should focus on more ways of teaching and communicating with students unfamiliar with the Tamil language.

Hostel Annamalai University offers two men's and two women's hostels on single and double occupancy. The hostel facilities are decent, providing a comfortable living space for students. However, the menu has more south indian food items and there were many students from the northern region, so it was difficult for them to survive on south indian food most of the time. The hostel facility could be improved.

Overall The MBA programme offered by Annamalai University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Moreover, the university is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an “A+” grade. Annamalai University fees for MBA is Rs 2.5 lakhs for the complete course. The hostel at Annamalai University cost me around Rs 22,000 for the single occupancy if I remember correctly.

Placement The Annamalai University TnP cell organised the 2022 placement drive at the campus. Before that, we were given proper skill development training. I landed a Rs 3.8 LPA job at WIPRO after my 5th interview and still today I am really grateful for what Annamalai University has given me in all these years.

Infrastructure Special attention to extracurricular activities was given by Annamalai University. We had a multipurpose playground which was perfect for both football and cricket. We also had access to a library that had over 20000 books. The Annamalai University also has separate hostel buildings for both male and female students.

Faculty My professors were all PhD holders and were really good at teaching. They used all the new technology including video classes to increase their efficiency in teaching. We also had to take regular unofficial tests prepared by our teachers. We were also taught by assistant professors when our regular professors were on leave. So there was never a day that we could not attend a class due to a lack of teaching faculty.

Hostel The Annamalai University hostel rooms had two variants single and double occupancy. I opted for the single occupancy room which cost around Rs 22,000 per year. The double occupancy room was available at Rs 10,000. The hostel life was the best day of my life and I still remember it even after so many months after graduation.
