DDU Gorakhpur Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

The Deen Dayal Upadhyay University Gorakhpur has a dedicated placement cell which conducts all placement and pre-placement activities. The cell acts as a link between the students and the prospective recruiters. To facilitate smooth DDU Gorakhpur placements, the cell trains students in many aspects. For this purpose, the cell conducts sessions like personality development sessions, guest lectures, mock tests and interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, etc. The placement cell aims to cater to the following aspects:

• Entrepreneurship

The university has not released its official statistics for the 2022 batch yet. However, the placement report released by the NIRF 2022 is available to give students a fair idea of the DDU Gorakhpur placement packages. 

• Ten MBA students, seven LLM students and ninety-seven LLB students were placed during the placements of 2021. 
• The number of LLB students placed in 2021 was 16% less than the number of students placed in the previous year. 
• There was an increase of 8% in the DDU Gorakhpur average package offered for MBA. 
• Further, the median package offered to LLB, LLM, and, MBA students stood at Rs 2.05 lakh per annum, Rs 1.86 lakh per annum, and, Rs 1.95 lakh per annum. 
• The maximum placements are made in the Sales sector followed by Operations, Business Development, Information Technology, and, Engineering. 
• As per the placement report for the 2021 batch, the DDU Gorakhpur B.Tech placement was the minimum among all other courses and roles offered.

Some of the reputed firms and NGOs participate in the placements of the university. Around 40% to 60% of pupils studying at DDU Gorakhpur get placed in well-known companies every year. Primary recruiting companies for the placement of the various courses are ICMR and NGOs.
