I am 12 pass student. Can I get admission at DDU Gorakhpur in the BSc Nursing course? Is a scholarship available for it?

Dear Student,

DDU Gorakhpur has an intake capacity of 40 students in BSc Nursing course. The following eligibility criteria need to be met to be considered eligible for admission in this college:

  • Students must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board with PCB and English, each taken as an individual subject.
  • The minimum marks required for General category candidates is 45% aggregate. SC/ST/OBC Categories are offered a relaxation of 5%.
  • Students must have passed English as a separate subject.
  • Student be 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit specified by INC or ABVMU.
  • Students should be medically fit.

Admission will be granted through the UP CNET exam conducted by ABVMU. The university also offers various scholarships and fellowships to deserving students on a merit as well as need basis.
