Kannur University was established in 1995 as ‘Malabar University’. It was later renamed ‘Kannur University’ under the Act 22 of 1996 of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. • Candidates who are willing to take admission in Kannur University UG and PG programme under the CBCS system must first and foremost meet the eligibility criteria set for the respective courses.
• Once the eligibility criteria are met, candidates must register for the respective entrance exams. For instance, for admission to Kannur University MBA course, candidates must qualify KMAT/CAT/MAT.
