Overall After 12th, it’s a dream for every college student to study in a good university. With the same dream, I took admission in the University of Kashmir and I did not regret it. I am so thankful to the assistance and guidance of the professors I have received in my course duration. I consider myself fortunate to be in a situation where I can shape a prosperous future. Overall, Kashmir University is a good university. The university offers a large and beautiful campus as well as qualified instructors.
Placement There are fewer placement and summer internship options at the university. A few students were hired by Glenmark with the median salary of Rs 3,00,000 per annum.
Infrastructure The university's infrastructure is excellent and well-maintained. Laboratories are well-stocked with instruments and technology. The university has a library named Allama Iqbal Library which contains an excellent collection of books on a wide range of topics. It is necessary to have your library ID within your initial days at the university. The timeline to borrow any book from the library is 20 days, you can even borrow three books at a time.
Faculty The faculty members of the university have expertise in their field of course and all are very courteous. The professors at University of Kashmir are well-versed in their subjects and they always assist every student in clarifying concepts or developing research. The passing minimum percentage to qualify is 50%.
Hostel The university has hostel facilities for the students. The hostels are spacious and have all of the basic necessities students need. The hostel campus is wi-fi enabled.
