Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University (VSKUB) is a state university established by the Government of Karnataka under the Karnataka State Universities Act 2000. The main VSKUB campus is located at Jnana Sagara Campus, Ballari spread over an area of about 95.37 acres. VSKUB has three more campuses which include the Nandihalli campus which is located at Nandihalli about 8 KMs from Sandur town, the Koppal campus established at the heart of Koppal city, and the Yelburga campus.
