BHU B.Sc Agriculture Entrance Exam 2021

Banaras Hindu University conducts its own entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admission to the courses offered. The University conducts the BHU UET AG entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admission to the B.Sc Agriculture course. It is an Institute level exam and the admission is done strictly on the basis of the entrance exam score.

The candidates who wish to get admission to the B.Sc Agriculture course at BHU will have to appear for the entrance exam. However, it is mandatory for the candidates to fill the application form in order to get eligible for sitting in the exam. The candidates will also have to fill an application fee along with the form.

Step 1: Registration

  1. Visit the official website and click on the link to “Apply Online”. 

  2. Choose the subject as B.Sc Agriculture. 

  3. Further, you will have to register on the portal using your email ID and contact number. 

  4. After successful registration, you will access the application form on the screen.

Step 2: Filling the Form

  1. Fill in all the details in the form such as personal details, educational details, communication address, and other details.

  2. Crosscheck all the details filled in before submitting as they cannot be edited once the form is submitted.

  3. After cross-checking, click on the “Proceed” button.

Step 3: Document Uploading

  1. In the next step, you will have to upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.

  2. Upload your photograph, signature, and other documents and click on “Proceed”.

Step 4: Fee Payment

  1. The last step is to pay the application fee for admission.

  2. The application fee is INR 300/- for SC/ ST candidates and INR 600/- for other candidates.

  3. After paying the application fee, your form will be successfully submitted.

BHU B.Sc Agriculture Eligibility Criteria 2021

It is very important for all the applicants to know about the eligibility criteria that they need to fulfill in order to get admission to the B.Sc Agriculture course at BHU. The complete eligibility requirements for BHU B.Sc Agriculture Admission 2021 are listed below:

  • The candidate must have passed class 12th in Science (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) from a recognized board.

  • The candidate must have acquired an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) in the qualifying examination.

  • The candidate must not be above 22 years of age at the time of admission before July 1st.

  • The candidates who are in their final year of 12th can also apply for admission given that they produce their original mark sheets at the time of counseling.

BHU B.Sc Agriculture Admission Test Pattern 2021

The test for BHU B.Sc Agriculture admission will be conducted for a total of 2 hours duration. The questions will be of multiple choice that means the candidates will have to choose one correct answer out of 4 options available. There will be a total of 200 questions of a total of 300 marks. The questions will be based on the 10+2 syllabus. There will be 5 sections in the exam:

  1. Agriculture – 50 questions;

  2. Botany & Zoology – 50 questions;

  3. Mental Ability – 25 questions;

  4. Physics & Mathematics – 50 questions;

  5. Chemistry – 25 questions;

It is mandatory for all the students to attempt the 1st and 2nd sections and choose any one section from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th sections. 

BHU B.Sc Agriculture Merit List 2021

After the entrance test, BHU will release the merit list for all the candidates. The merit list will consist of the names of candidates who have qualified in the test, their scores in the test, and the rank positions. Based on the rank obtained by the candidates in the merit list, seat allotment through the counselling process will be conducted.

BHU B.Sc Agriculture Selection Criteria 2021

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam. The candidates who are listed in the merit list will be sent an E-generated email regarding the notification of the counselling process. The candidates will have to fill the online choices regarding the preference of their courses & colleges. Based on the entrance test score & online choice filled, the seats will be allotted to the candidates. The candidates will then have to visit the campus, submit their documents, and pay the admission fee to complete the process.
